- Rooms are very small but actually stunning and well furnished. Great helpful staff. Perfectly located hotel. Amazing elevator music. Great hotel but bring a torch, the place is like an unlit castle.
- Serious EatsSeptember 20, 2013At the newly reopened Henry, a Liquor Bar in the Hudson Hotel, Londoner Ryan Chetiyawardana pulls the diversity of local ingredients to emulate the ever-changing feeling of the seasons.
- Roger SchonfeldOctober 5, 2014One of the great hotel bars. Wonderful upscale "library" bar and surprising outside bar upstairs. A fine place to drink in midtown west.
- M Aldoss ♏April 26, 2016The rooms are kinda Small, but very cozy. The hotel itself like a piece of Art !!! I really enjoyed my stay there. Very fast and quick elevators. Highly Recommended
- Lívia BicalhoJuly 19, 2016Excellent localization, closet to Many restaurants in 9th ave. in front of Central Park! Amazing roof top bar. Two bars inside, also very nice, good cocktails. Small bedrooms, not that clean.
- This is an awesome hotel for socializing -great nooks for romantic seating, the Library makes fantastic cocktails. Not a business hotel at all - very boutique & swank but dark - does not serve food.
- ℳ𝒶𝓎♍December 31, 2018This was THE place to stay back during the Sex & The City era. I think an episode even took place here. Fast forward about 15 years, and well, looks like this place is still standing!
- Mike KalenDecember 18, 2014Found the Hudson hotel on Priceline. Had always heard this was the place to stay in midtown. It's got a great lobby and several restaurants. Try the back bar for drinks and late night food.
- Jeff SmithApril 11, 2015Great location by the park and a funky vibe that makes coming back to the hotel at night an experience in itself. You're not going to spend much time in your room, so don't fret the lack of space.
- Eva HouseMarch 20, 2017Nice rooms with a nautical and quirky vibe. Beautiful lobby and a convenient location, right in the middle of everything but not too busy!
- Morgans Hotel Group ManagerFebruary 20, 2013Stop in and check out Hudson's new beer hall and burger joint, Hudson Common. The Common burger, a local beer on tap and a old-fashioned custard will make for one memorable meal!
- Noah XifrNovember 2, 2013Central area has a Taqueria with AMAZING sushi fusion TUNA tacos!!! The taqueria closes like 10p so get ur grub then chill at adjoining Library Bar or dance in Henry Lounge. Fun & done.
- Social News NetworkDecember 4, 2013A GREAT hotel if you're staying in Manhattan. It's right next to Columbus circle, the staff is friendly and the design is refreshingly modern. I would go back in a heartbeat.
- Andrew BestafkaFebruary 22, 2014Rooms are small but modern, cool, and comfortable with decent views. The bars/clubs are cool, full, and good music. And the staff, especially Brit, are awesome!
- Love the Library Bar as a great place to hang out (and get work done). Big comfy couches and chairs. If you're there in the a.m., it's like a big co-working space.
- ᴡ HerviasAugust 17, 2014Tequila Park Taqueria, the food, the lounges.... Beautiful, chill, & classy. The interior is superb. Drinks are strong. Super sweet staff. #perfection
- Júlíus SigurjónssonApril 23, 2017This is a great hotel! U can't get better location in NYC. Rooms are clean and the staff is great! I have been at this hotel ten times. ❤️❤️❤️
- Trendy bars make for expensive drinks - but a great date spot that caters to either a low key or lively mood. Rooms are small but neat -- location convenient for out-of-towners
- Lorraine DixonJuly 17, 2011My favourite hotel in Manhattan. The rooms are small but it has everything you need at a high standard. It's centrally located to everything plus the hotel is very trendy with indoor & outdoor lounges
- D&A Travel: AndersDecember 28, 2013[Hotel] Feel like a rockstar but have a limited budget? The Hudson is still the best hotel deal on Manhattan, with double rooms starting at $150. They're small, but beds are good the lobby is great.
- One of the best designer hotel. Layering of space with designed experience. Good play of scale and lighting.
- Absolutely beautiful. Not a bad price for Hell's Kitchen. The rooms are wood-panelled. If you can book a jr suite.
- The Corcoran GroupApril 21, 2011Go for the fantastic décor and enjoy a cocktail in the Library Room or Private Park. Becomes very see-and-be-seen on the weekends.
- Nadia IssaBellaJanuary 19, 2016Small rooms but the suites are well priced enough to allow you an upgrade which fixes that. The penthouse is stunning
- Alexzandria LangheierJuly 9, 2015One of my favorite bars hotels in the city beautiful decor and comfortable seating definitely a date night cocktail spot
- Zachh HumeApril 27, 2014Love the design of the rooms. Awesome staff! Bathroom is small, and the Jr Suite is a little hard to cool down. Overall, it's a beautiful hotel.
- Ricardo HernandezJuly 11, 2012Head to the 14th floor outdoor bar after 4 pm on a nice day. Very comfortable an great views of the west side of Manhattan.
- MagalyNovember 17, 2018One block from Columbus Circle Station. Small but comfy rooms. Staff is ok. I recommend it!
- Abi SilvesterAugust 12, 2016Hip and stylish hotel in an unbeatable location. Have stayed here on both my visits to NYC and would do so again.
- Hotel TonightAugust 5, 2011Central Park is a block away, but guests can find 45-foot trees in the Private Park and a landscaped oasis at the 15th-floor Sky Terrace.
- Mafe Sotillo LairetMay 15, 2017The hotel itself it's beautiful. I didn't love the rooms that much; too dark and super small. But it doesn't really matter bc you're in NY! The city that never sleeps 😜
- Sip With SocialitesOctober 1, 2013@HudsonNYC @morganshotel The rooms are extremely 'cozy.' The scene is sophisticated. Ask for Charles at The Library bar. #eyecandy
- Morgans Hotel GroupJuly 18, 2012Unique beside lamps are art work in each Hudson hotel room. Once our renovation is complete, there will be pieces of Nick Veasey's x-ray imaging in each room for all guests to admire!
- Donald MunroeApril 2, 2013Great staff, both bars are perfect. Classic Cocktails made for a great end of the day nightcap. Rooms small but ultra-modern.
- JD MaloneSeptember 10, 2017Beautiful and eclectic hotel. Non suite rooms are a bit smaller than average but still wonderfully designed.
- I love this hotel, the rooms are tiny but gave all you need to enjoy. Need to pay attention to details that are misplaced or broken with use.
- Ozy OzySeptember 29, 2013Decoration,location & staff amazing..but standart rooms are very small.no space for 2luggages.no breakfast, only room service..terrace bar 15th floor is very good, romantic.except rooms everythings ok.
- Hotel CatalinaNovember 2, 2013Loved staying at the Hudson, rooms are small but very clean and cozy. Great atmosphere, I was very happy here.
- ovey yeungNovember 25, 2010Most beautiful garden and chandelier ever! The library room is chill and great for scotch on the rocks. Bouncers are jerks but if you can get in, the lounge upstairs has some pretty good music.
- If you stay in the winter, avoid room 928! The radiator pipes kept us up all night with constant pops and creaks. The rooms also do not insulate outside sound (street and neighboring rooms). No sleep.
- Looks 5 stars design-wise and the service is up to the task as well, but the rest feels more like a 2/3 stars that just has too much make up. I might go back if the price is convenient at the time
- Allison JonesJune 8, 2013Lobby level outdoor patio/lounge is really nice. This is an excellent place to stay. Centrally located and cool vide.
- Joel SavitzkySeptember 6, 2015Beer is pricey, but plenty of local options. Bengali Tiger is a delicious IPA from Brooklyn's Sixpoint.
- Amy WilsonJanuary 19, 2015I'm generally a big fan of Morgan's Hotels esp Clift & Sanderson. However here I feel they have lost their identity somewhat and try too much to emulate Ace Hotel. Not as luxe as its sister hotels.
- Great localization and common areas. Rooms are very small, specially the bathroom and miss some charm (looks more like an Ibis)
- Social News NetworkApril 17, 2013Pros: There is free coffee in the morning near the check-in desk. You can also check your baggage in to the hotel at no cost if you arrive early.
