People who left bad reviews have never been to a united lounge in the US. This is heaven compared to those in Chicago and San Francisco (e.g. This one has an outdoor space?!)
Nice comfortable seats with some privacy. Many electricity & USB sockets for convenient charging of ur devices. Food & refreshments have limited variety but fresh & nice. Wifi password is "starparis"
Garden is worth it. If you’re departing from a Schengen gate (50-60s) you can still come here but need to go through passport control, show boarding pass, and explain you only want to go to the lounge
comfy seats, WiFi, Usb &outlet, shower, wine&beer, coffee machine, hot&cold dishes, Kimji on salad bar, outside patio - would be nicer if it's non-smoking. nonetheless: 2nd FL is a hidden gem. lol
Good food selection and cleanlounge. Self serve bar and small outdoor garden area. Weird area, so you have to leave the lounge an hour before you board to ensure you get through customs in time
Seating is comfortable with different zones for everyone’s needs. Glad that they have a shower room. But a little bit disappointed on the food option, not much to eat compared to other lounges.
If you expect to go here after you go through security, forget it! They are before security, totally back ass backwards from any other lounge in the world! Useless!
I don’t get why this lounge gets all these bad reviews. It’s spacious. You can take whatever you want from the amenities. If you think this is bad. You are a spoiled brat. And I wish you good luck...
May not be worth coming early for. Shower areas could be closed - count your bad luck if it is. F&B quality is average, limited food options but lots of soft drinks choices. Lounge is spacious though
This lounge is located right after passport control & a long way before security (some airportstaff may not know this -there’s another Star Alliance lounge after security but that’s for biz class)
Overcrowded. The entire airport (which was cool 30+ years ago) is just built on a miniature scale. The hallways and escalators and lounges are not made to modern airport standards or scale.
Have to agree this is one of the weaker lounges and the fact that you have to go through security AFTER the lounge makes it even worse. The whole lounge needs revamping.
Ok, now there are some improvements in the decoration and the offerings but it still is like a cave. This place must have been designed as a service floor.
I can confirm the prior tips -- a dreary lounge with outdated furniture and only one redeeming feature ... WiFi. Make sure you leave an hour before your flight to get through security.
Must agree on how disappointing this lounge was, from the cave feeling one gets upon entering, to the poor selection of food. If it were a Frat House still would be a wanna be hip one. Just skip it!
Rather a disappointing lounge -- friendly staff -- but badly in need of a revamp -- food pretty miserable-- if you can and have the status head to the Star Alliance lounge upstairs-- big difference.
Full with people standing around with nowhere to sit, food bad & not stocked. Boarding announcement made & after we got to gate we waited another 45mins to board. Also being before security sucks.
Despite what others have said, it's not a horrible lounge, several distinct areas, moderate quantity of food options and cleanbathrooms and showers. Not good for drinkers though :(
