Colin M. FordMarch 9, 2013Great spot for late-ish dinner and drinks or weekend brunch. Get the BLP (a BLT but with Pimento Cheese), you won't be disappointed! If the weather is nice sit out on the deck.

highly recommend the kale, hushpuppies dipped in honey butter, and the delightfully refreshing john daly cocktail. ask about the "dirty bird" (off the secret menu) and if possible sit in the backyard!

David GavazziMay 1, 2011Fried chicken sandwich is killer (and large). Use generous amounts of house vinegar. Bake beans and pimms cup are nice twists on old faves. Small but excellent rye, bourbon and beer selection.
Joe ChecklerJanuary 31, 2011BLT is delish, because the Pullman loaf is as fresh as DJ Jazzy Jeff's prince. Tomato fresh in Jan. too! If u need salad because you're getting fat, get the chix salad, tho it's slightly unhealthy.
You can't go wrong with either the chicken or fish sandwich and a side of greens. A strong cocktail and killer brunch help too.

The sweet PLT here is amazing! You must try it with the house made hot sauce. Skip the mac n cheese. Doodling on the table is a fun way to wait.

The Sweet PLT is delicious, just be aware that the "smoked sweet potato" is sweet potato chips on your sandwich.

The buttermilk fried chicken salad with homemade ranch dressing is life changing.
excellent sammiches and sides and a nice back garden. my faves are the fish sandwich and potato salad.
It's all delicious. The fried chicken salad is awesome. So is the pulled pork sandwich.
The pulled pork sandwich is the best NC style BBQ I've had outside of, well, NC.
Kilt Salad with Bacon Dressing is rediculous. Brunswick stew? Eat it by the bucket.
Best hush puppies in Bk. BLP is amazing, so is the fried chicken sandwich.
Get the chicken every other time. On visits 2, 4, etc., try the other sandwiches; they're good too...- M KFebruary 28, 2013Try putting the yellowish-green sauce on everything, especially the hush puppies.
Pork sandwich is insane. Be sure to ask them for vinegar, it really makes the whole thing come together.

Fried chicken sandwich and burnt rhum old fashioned. So good.
The fried fish sandwich with coleslaw and pickles is fantastic. Fried but not greasy.
Bacon lettuce and pimento sandwich will change your life....at least for a day or two
