- James KachanOctober 7, 2016Beautiful venue, with great sound. However as it is an old venue, the seats while comfy are very close together and beams can obstruct view
- Thiemy PellacaniNovember 16, 2016The acoustics of this venue is extraordinary. It is an old place, so the seats are tight with small leg room. Some seat views are obstructed with beams.
- Ilissa GilmoreOctober 1, 2017Saw the Pixies here. Nice venue, helpful/friendly staff; not sure this was right place for that show. Only because of the seats and the theater atmosphere — which are both great. Sound was excellent.
- This is the best venue in Toronto for a relaxing show. The seats aren't comfortable, but the environment is cozy, the sound is great, and it's a Toronto landmark.
- Connor McBrine-EllisApril 13, 2014If you're on the floor, you'll probably be standing for the whole show. If you want to sit, try and get balcony seats near the first row
- Alex PalmerApril 7, 2018A building like no other in Toronto! Arguably the best acoustics AND so much warmth and character. 🖤
- Sherry StoneFebruary 12, 2016It's a great, classic concert hall, not much more needs to be said. If someone you like is playing here get tickets you won't regret it.
- Kate VahrahDecember 22, 2016The place is really cool, but very uncomfortable. Smaller seats than old venues in Nashville. And they slide forward and back. It's odd. Lids for drinks. Stopped serving before the show was over.
- Dan BrownAugust 9, 2014There can be some bad seats so just be aware of the seating chart before buying scalped/second-market tickets - especially if it's a sitdown show!
- Great since the renovation. There’s a bar and new washrooms on Balcony and Gallery levels.
- Will CorkAugust 8, 2015Came and saw The Stooges play at Masses Hall a few years ago. My seats were poor but the venue is otherwise fantastic. Very personal atmosphere, depending on who's on stage.
- Vero RobayoMay 11, 2014Nice place! There is no such thing as a "bad seat". The basement area is perfect for a small cocktail party
- AlessandroAugust 23, 2011One of the best concert halls in the city. If any artist you love is playing here, I strongly advise you purchase tickets as they will sound incredible. Look out for me performing here one day ;-)
- Watch that you don't get seats behind a pole! Otherwise, great venue with lots of character.
- LisaNovember 12, 2011My favorite place to see shows, just don't get gallery or obstructed view seats.
- Rebecca Garland-ZaleschukOctober 12, 2013If you want to watch, yes there are some bad seats in this house. But to listen....it's awesome all over.....
- Lia PowersMay 19, 2015While not exactly award winning acoustics, this hall definitely wins some points for its atmospheric appeal
- - RApril 19, 2012I've seen Down With Webster and Snow Patrol here. Awesome venue, probably my favourite concert hall in the city.
- Simply the best live music venue in Toronto! Arrive early and hit the bar in the basement.
- Great venue, awesome view from practically anywhere. The seats are also really cool.
- Tracy IoannidisSeptember 30, 2012Great place for music but avoid the top floor, row B - hard wooden seats with absolutely no leg room.
- One of the best historic concert halls in Toronto! This place has seen a lot of legends.
- Will CorkAugust 8, 2015Saw The Stooges here a few years ago. Seats weren't great but the venue is phenomenal.
- King Blue CondosSeptember 12, 2012Behind those famous red doors of Massey Hall, there is a world of music and entertainment to be discovered! Read more
- Ari ComertApril 16, 2011Do not sit in the gallery unless you are anorexic and 4 feet tall and enjoy sitting on wood chairs built in the 50's
- Dose.caSeptember 22, 2010When your ticket says "view obstructed by post," it means it. Be careful when you're ordering balcony seats

- Celeste C.November 3, 2011Don't get in to the nosebleeds if you're taller than 5ft11. Your knees WILL hit the head of the person in front of you.
- Bree TomchoMarch 18, 2010I saw Our Lady Peace twice in one week! It was amazing. The sound is great and the theatre is absolutely beautiful!!
- Gina TseOctober 12, 2012Seats recline so you dont have to stand up if someone is trying to get by you.
