- Inconvenient location, horrible sight lines, and that small Asian lady security guard that's always mad is WAYY too touchy-feely imo... Kinda creepy. View of the city is one of the best around though
- Brett W.June 20, 2012I read all the reviews about the S.A. and I have to say that I disagree. I have seen TONS of shows, and this place was big but intimate. Saw KEANE. Sound was perfect !
- Cheryl DugganOctober 25, 2014Sound Academy is one of my favorite indoor concert venues. Last night I caught the 2014 CASBY Awards. Billy Talent was the surprise opener.
- OndreaFebruary 2, 2014Cramped venue, got to the front rows thanks to the crowd pushing non stop. Sound was fine, I think Panic! brought their own speakers. $7.50 for a can of Molsen. Cab fare gets jacked up at big events
- pluckerMay 10, 2012Like photography? Don't even *think* of bringing a camera with a detachable lens in to this venue. Security WILL find it at the door and then beat you with it. Trust.
- HMVAugust 29, 2011A tough venue to watch a gig at only because the sight lines are tight & the bars are tough to get at. Get there EARLY! That being said, it always showcase the hottest bands going.
- Dan WeaverDecember 19, 2010If there's a VIP offering, do it. otherwise, it's not a great place to see the band.. also, awkward to get to, and the security people are really polar - some really awesome, some serious assholes.
- Robbyn GordonOctober 5, 2014First visit to this venue for the Nick & Knight concert... Not a fan of GA & standing room only :( it was a great show & the view of the Toronto Skyline all lit up was pretty!
- ᴡ MApril 6, 2014Stella takes care of the women's bathroom and she's awesome. If you can, leave her a little tip.
- Sara RAugust 17, 2014The security guards were amazing and let us use their office to print our tickets when our digital tickets weren't working
- Q107 TorontoJuly 14, 2012If you want a great view with the best acoustics, springing for VIP tickets is always worth it!
- Q107 TorontoJuly 18, 2012If you want a great view with the best acoustics, springing for VIP tickets are always worth it!
- VibonicsNovember 5, 2011I know, I know. The sound is always Public Enemy #1 at the Sound Ac, but for what it's worth, it was terrific when we were on stage! Maybe it's us...
- Mick FaganAugust 27, 2010Saw Against Me! and Silversun Pickups. Long way from anywhere but worth it once I got there. Great sound. Wont eat beforehand next time - want to try the food next time!
- MimiSeptember 27, 2015Great skyline view. Terrible venue for concerts. It's nearly impossible to hail a cab afterwards. Driving is a pain too because drunk teens are prancing around hoping to get hit...
- Amanda NewhousesMay 18, 2012It may not be the best venue for sound, or sight... but by god, they have huge, candy-filled bathrooms.
- Sahra GrahamNovember 27, 2010Venue is in the middle of nowhere with a serious ride on the shoelace express to the bus that comes once every half hour. If ur trying to get a cab just call one. Don't go if it's not u fave band ever
- Lawrence AhernJanuary 27, 2013Didn't think it was quite loud enough but an intimate venue, arrive early so you can get a good spot, hard to see if not in front 1/4 .... Beer prices also not to bad

www.cmw.net! - Jacob EdholmOctober 27, 2011Not the best venue, but saw my favorite band there and it was definitely worth the shenanigans. Biggest problem for me was the temperature inside. Way too hot.
- pluckerMay 10, 2012Security are seriously thorough here. They will go through ever zippered compartment in your bag. They'll unzip your pants too if they feel something in it, I swear.
- 404 Media GroupDecember 14, 2014Here for the #amnesiaforever 15th anniversary party. @ianandreespinet its going to be #epic #hiphop #80s #Toronto
- Don't park on the street unless you want little yellow surprise on your windshield!
- Mia SteffensenMarch 8, 2014The venue is really disorganized where rude staff and security just yell at you and shuffle people in like cattle, not the best experience before going to a concert :P
- I'm not a fan of this place. Tough to see, get a drink, and the sound is usually dicey.
- Andrew KnappMarch 30, 2010Don't listen to that guy. Every experience will be differreny. Most of the time it's absolutely phenomenal. He must have had some bad concer luck.
- The worst sight lines of all the music venues in Toronto, which aggravates the crowd and makes people push/argue like children. Come here if you are tall.
- Decibel MagazineDecember 13, 2010On 02/26/2011 the Decibel Sponsored Creatures from the Black Abyss Tour stops here! Featuring Cradle of Filth, Nachtmystium, Turisas and Daniel Lioneye
- chandra r.June 10, 2013Shittiest concert venue in the city. Security is whack. Nice view of the Toronto skyline, however.
- Kayla ElisabethOctober 4, 2014The place was way over capacity and they were still selling tickets. Rude staff. They have someone on their Facebook page clearly working for them who calls anyone who gives a bad review an idiot.
- Chris YJune 19, 2010Be prepared to be searched thoroughly. Always a huge line to get in due to the screening process (only 2 female security guards)
