Small dogs r welcome in the larger run. However, their toys & balls must be left in the small run. At least 3 large dogs have swallowed small balls, requiring surgery. Leave the small balls outside!
Please don't bring softballs or baseballs into the run. The dogs chew the leather & swallow it causing issues. Also, underneath is string which can also choke the dogs. And pls throw out broken balls!
The white "canisters" attached to the fence throughout the run r bag dispensers. If u need a bag, take 1. But pls remember to bring a replacement when u come back for the next person who needs 1!
Spend some quality time with your licensed pup at the Dewitt Clinton Park Dog Run. For info on dog licensing visit: http://on.nyc.gov/M85uPu. For more info about dog runs visit: http://bit.ly/Ra5S4w
If u insist on bringing treats, PLEASE don't give them to dogs other than your own! U don't know what allergies or dietary restrictions other dogs are under.
Ahhhh try to be attentive about your pup pooping. I should not have to pick up cold hardened poop that's not from my dog. On the same note: do try to pick up left-behind poop if you see some.
