- Claire SextonNovember 2, 2012Surprisingly un-crowded considering its one of the only lines into Manhattan after Sandy. I got onto the first train that arrived after I did, just before 9 on 11/2Upvoted Feb 2
- Thomas CerdaApril 6, 2013In the cold u will freeze , the 7train comes by quickly downstairs but takes a year up stairs , as for the Q/N upstairs it comes quick and takes long down stairs Vise Versa
- Thomas PajorAugust 21, 2015What a lovely station. The two levels of elevated structure are quite spectacular. You can also take amazing photographs of approaching (7) trains from the west end of the upper level platform.Upvoted 2 weeks ago
- Regular 7 train riders are rude and never wait for others to get off the train before charging in. I will shoulder check all of you if you don't move out the way.
- The 7 train just loves to close its doors & pull off when the N train is pulling in & opening it's door. #dickheadmove
- If you’re lucky, you’ll be able to view the sun setting & get a lovely, but obstructed skyline sunset picture.
- Thomas PajorAugust 21, 2015A quite spectacular spot for watching (7) trains entering and leaving this double-el station is at the intersection of Queens Plaza South and 24th Street.
- 7 trains are always more frequent than the N&Q. Its set up that way, deal with it.
- If you’re on the N or W trains, the next Manhattan bound stop would be 59th St/Lexington Ave. Youll be there in under 10 mins :)
- Trains get super crowded during rush hour so be prepared to be squished / squeezed in &/or pushed...
- You do not want to be on the left side doors when the train rolls through here during rush. Stick to the right of heading to manhattan, left going into Astoria.
- Try out the cafe on the south side of Queensboro Plaza; only hip joint (to date) around the plaza.
- Be careful not to confuse Queensboro Plaza with Queens Plaza. They are right next to one another and there's no free transfer between the two and completely different train lines....
- Mrs LNovember 10, 2011Look to see if the N is across the platform otw to the city. It may be more convenient to your destination, not to mention it's the most pleasant train!
- Enjoy a fine mariachi band on the 7 train....whether you like it or not!
- If ya wanna get downtown and avoid the bedlam of times sq and grand central, get off the 7, walk across the platform and take the N
- The 7 train is here. Red light trains are express and green light ones are local. You're welcome :).
- Only station with an IRT/BMT platform transfer in the entire system.
- Rule of thumb: back of the train towards Manhattan, front of the train towards Ditmars. Reverse that for nighttime. You'll always get a seat.
- For tourists: the 7 can take you to manhattan as well as the N or Q.
- If you have to leave early in the morning (5-6am) give yourself extra time. It never seems to run on schedule. I don't care much for the N or Q train during this time.
- Pro tip if people stand in front if you when trying to get off the trains here do what I do: Barrel right through them! That will teach them to stand in the way.
- Another wonderful weekend service fuck, 7 Train again, will not be passing Queensboro Plaza. My opinion, start pushing people in the tracks. Give them a real reason for some real track work.
- It's generally considered rude to save a seat on a full train at rush hour for your wet umbrella.
- Roxie PhasavathNovember 8, 2012If your from the south, resist anything more than buying your way on the subway. Southern Hospitality is non existent with these workers. Small talk is not their language.
- This is my favorite train platform in all the land <3.
- Take time to visit friends use The MTA its The Only Way! #nyc #boom #B2B #BCG
- Be prepared for a lot of 7 and n service changes on the weekend
- Cool elevated views from all windows on Astoria-bound trains and the 7.
- Mad people get off the Queens-bound N train to get on the Queens-bound 7 train all the time.

- When you let people leave the train before plowing in, not only is it considered polite, it's intuitive.
- 3/12/11 : Need the #7? You're $%@*#! as there's emergency track repairs this weekend!
- There's a great photo spot on the top platform at the west end looking south.
- Head over to Dutch Kills for a swanky cocktail or to Ravel Rooftop for a nice view.
