Bring a headlamp if you start a hike in the afternoon... The park doesn't close, and you can hike out after dark. The trails are wide and improved.

Boardwalk is awesome & pick up brochure in the visitors center so that you can read about #'ed interesting facts along the stroll

Recommend coming in April and taking a ranger-led canoe tour.
