- Adam PalmerDecember 16, 2014This hotel has the sort of old school class too it that makes you feel like you're staying in a classic film set in NYC. Rooms are large but the bathroom wasn't the best - still, very nice hotel.
- Rebecca PlaineMarch 29, 2016Bottle (bubbly and wine) service is priced as if you were having a meal- order a bottle at a comfy table with friends & enjoy the scenery.
- emre celkitenDecember 15, 2014we stayed here! so many memories. The mingus-esque jazz playing by the front door really welcomes you with that nyc mood.
- Brittany GoodwynFebruary 18, 2014The lobby is gorgeous and the location can't be beat. Be sure to try one of the restaurants within the hotel. Excellent food as well.

- Sebastian RiveraJune 3, 2013Comfy and spacious rooms! Very clean though a bit dated decor. Wifi didn't work either of the 2 days I stayed (what else can you expect with AT&T?)
- Damian BayonaMarch 27, 2016Duck in here during the week for a breather. Their lobby is luxurious and open to the public
- Very old, but lobby is beautiful. Rooms are spacious for New York City.
- Liz JordanAugust 2, 2013Great hotel, but this place is definitely haunted. Fourth floor ghosts were harassing us all weekend.
- Michael HavensDecember 7, 2011If ur gng 2 do lobby bar, mk sur Tony (shrt, stocky) or Anthony (tall, crly) takes care of u. >Tru bartenders, in the old schl sense of real gntlmn and frnds. Tell em Havens from NYC/Charlotte sent u.
- Wirya MartinNovember 14, 2011The Roosevelt is a awesome, older hotel. go visit the lobby bar, enjoy a pleasant atmosphere while watching the bar tender with dazzling skills
- Jay BlessedAugust 25, 2014If you're into old fashion hotels with small rooms, small bathrooms and a view of office buildings - perfect. If not - DONT STAY HERE!
- Dan YonOctober 2, 2016Run by the Pakistan Gov like a motel 6 in the middle of NYC. The lobby, and hotel bar are cool, classic NYC... but no hot water and cable out for days!? outlets broken, peeling paint, moldy bathrooms?
- Obadiah PoundageApril 27, 2018Mandatory fees that are inexplicably not included in the price so you think you're getting a better deal than you are. TVs that rarely work right, only two working elevators. Don't get fooled.
- Joseph ElkhademAugust 6, 2013Great location and comparable in price to other hotels that are not this good.
- LecoJanuary 14, 2019Prepare your pocket for the extra US$40,00 the charge per day that includes internet and access to gym but not a simple print out. New York City constantly searching for new ways of ripping you off
- Agustin OrtizNovember 6, 2014Nice and confortable beds, great location only a few steps of times square
- Michelle BerryMay 6, 2013Checked in and got free Wi-Fi...this is one of my favorite places in New York so happy to be back! Staff are awesome.
- Danley HuAugust 7, 2015Decently nice and clean. But for the price, I would've liked to not walk down the stairs because elevators took too long. Elevators are so slow and small, and wifi options suck.
- Stephanie LittlerDecember 11, 2018The cleaning staff are friendlier than the reception staff. The rooms are pretty basic for a 4* hotel, the bathroom is especially unimpressive.
- Otel.comJuly 31, 2012You can visit various shops from inside the hotel. These include Swarovski, Clarks, Workshop Women's Clothing and more.
- Bonnie PalisJune 28, 2014The lobby bar needs to be more consistent in learning to make an old fashioned Tom Collins!
- Beb Cruz Aka Miss CruzApril 26, 2013Great service so far both with room service and house keeping ;)
- Carlos FerrizSeptember 15, 2016In their storage service lost the luggage of my sister and boyfriend with the entire collection to present during NY Fashion Week (Children of our town). They dont do anything to fix it $$$.

- Francisco GutierrezDecember 16, 2011this is NOT where they filmed Ghostbusters: "filming of the Hotel scenes took place at the Biltmore Hotel, in Los Angeles, California."src:
http://ghostbusters.wikia.com/wiki/Sedgewick_Hotel - Ashleigh GardnerJuly 31, 2015Really slow, inefficient elevators. Give yourself an extra 20 minutes in the morning to wait for the elevator downstairs
- Be sure to check in, they have good specials for foursquare users
- Naman NaoumMarch 28, 2011Strongest cocktails in the city, a local fab!! Look for Eddie best bar keep around
- Nika VaskaFebruary 26, 2017To wait for elevators is 5-7 minutes!Ice machines don't work!Vending machines are empty!Room service doesn't work during the day!Rooms are old.Maids are very loud. Staff is rude and not ready to help.
- Tony SunzeriOctober 21, 2012Cleanest/nicest public restrooms in the city. Up the stairs and to the right.
- nicole MarieNovember 21, 2012Don't expect the concierge to help you find a place to eat. He gave bad directions and was UPSET I had to come back for more info. Bathrooms are very outdated and gross. There are better options.
- Adam SchuitSeptember 11, 2015Decent midtown east hotel. There are better hotels in NYC but don't be disappointed if you end up here haha
