Not an impressive building but good place to get work done and the rotating exhibits are pretty neat. First time I’ve seen Emmy and Oscar awards in person.
1st floor is best for study groups because they have the dry erase walls. 3rd floor is procrastination station. 4th and 5th guarantee you'll forget what time or day it is.
Snag a seat on the second floor by the balcony and maybe you'll even get a private concert--the practice rooms on this floor are not very well soundproofed.
After receiving the Nobel Peace Prize in 1964, Martin Luther King, Jr. presented his manuscripts, records, and personal papers to the Mugar Memorial Library. Be sure to stop by and have a look.
Free high speed scanners on the first floor in the copy room. Enter through the staircase on the right as you come into Mugar or walk by circulation and down the hall. Closes at 23:45.
Don't ask us cage dwellers where to find or why you can't find the book you're looking for. We're writing our dissertations ...or checking our Facebook.
Beware the fake security guy in the AM screening people to let in only workers. Unnecessarily rude and disrespectful. We pay how much to go here and be treated poorly by this guy?
