- Megan JenningsOctober 21, 2016Sacher-Torte was nice, but drier than I imagined, but I'd never had it before so I'm no expert! Service was very friendly and efficient, atmosphere was calm and cosy. I'd definitely go back again.Upvoted Jan 15
- Artyom FedosovJuly 28, 2016Original Sachertorte is a loud brand, but actually it's not something really special: dessert here wasn't much better than one we bought at the airport.Upvoted 3 weeks ago
- ViennaInfoMarch 8, 2012Enjoy the authentic Viennese coffee house atmosphere with a slice of original Sachertorte and a cup of Sacher coffee. A magnificent winter garden frames uninterrupted views of the State Opera House. Read more
- Fluying ✅December 31, 2016If the line is too long try the Sacher Stube adherent to the original cafe. Same cake, same pricey prices and also a very elegant ambience. Service is very good.
- Kyriakos G. 🍺 🍔May 6, 2016Maybe the most authentic coffee place in Vienna. Start with an Einspänner, try the Apfelstrudel and definitely the Sacher Torte mit Schlagobers. Just perfect!
- A.MFebruary 11, 2019One of the top cafes in Vienna and most famous in their sweets,, pro tip: ask about the combination they have on the menu so you could enjoy their coffee cake and abottle of water for a better price😉
- Riham Abdullah ✨September 2, 2016If you visit Vienna you must try Sacher cake with whipped cream the traditional and delicious cake ❤️😍 it doesn't matter if you try it here or in another Cafe 👌🏼but this one is really yummy 💘
- Anja Z.July 14, 2017The Sachertorte here is the original, but in Slovenia, which was also part of the Austro-Hungarian empire, we use an improved recipe, which makes the cake juicier and the chocolate layer thicker :)
- Lidiia IulinaAugust 23, 2016Amazing Sacher cake! Good coffee, vienna melange - must try! You are likely to wait to be seated there, but be sure, further - pleasure only;)
- Didi JackyJanuary 17, 2020In Vien, you should stop by this cafe to feel it’s historic kind of glow & elegance & try it’s famous sacher torte. It’s a chocolate cake with a sweet & sour taste.2 may share the cake.
- DanielaAugust 29, 2017The original Sacher Torte is my long-term favourite, especially combined with the Sacher Mischung tea. The service is always friendly and helpful. Also the café is very pleasant, but a bit crowded.
- Goatha061 week agoAnother cafe break, even not a Cake man, tried original sachet chocolate parfait with flat white. When u visit Vienna, you should come and taste it, be prepared your self for a que at the entrance.🤗
- Kristián MarešOctober 15, 2017Very nice atmosphere, friendly staff, but desserts and drinks very usual as everywhere. Sacher torte and Sacher Fudgecake too sweet, just tried a little.. People line at the front of hotel a marketing
- Dr.Reham GaryFebruary 2, 2019Everything was perfect , especially the staff supper supper nice , food is awesome , it’s history !!! Strooongly recommenced , hot chocolate is a must ! I give it 10/10
- Nini KobakhidzeDecember 8, 2017The cafe is really good, nice design, calm and nice. As for Sachertorte which is acclaimed to be the best here (it was first time I tasted it), I did not like at all
- Marc KaiserJanuary 20, 2017As always, we had a great time at Sacher. Friendly service, good pastry and an ambience that really is something different. When in Vienna, a must visit location.
- Bianca EderOctober 21, 2017Yes its cliché, yes its ridiculously expensive but the cake is fantastic and you pay for the brand experience and you get that. And quality , worth it
- Rene T.August 17, 2018Good coffee ("Verlängerter"), from my point of view the "Sacher Torte" here is better than in "Café Demel".
- Serhii LutskoJuly 4, 2017This is the cafe where the Sachertorte was invented and first served. Definitely worth to visit since the prices are average. Better to visit in the evening (I would say after 9 PM) to avoid lines
- TmuJanuary 2, 2016The cake was good and tasty. Be ready to que for entarance! There is also a shop at The same address where you can get sacher Products to go 👍
- Jo-Ann LimOctober 17, 2018Definitely worth trying the original Sacher torte. Had the Maria-Theresia kaffee. Lovely and cosy ambience and good service. Don’t be put off by the queue as it moves quickly.
- Stasya SatyaNovember 17, 2018Absolutely stunning central location with the most fresh baked Sacher. Love the apricot aftertaste
- Priscila de AlcântaraMarch 26, 2018Beautiful place, definitely worth waiting in line. The sacher is surprisingly "ok" but the apple strudel is delicious. Coffee is also great.
- Mario BJuly 25, 2016Genuinely Viennese. Get the one and only, but don't queue at the main entrance, you'll find a great spot entering from the side without waiting.
- Iulia AndreeaMay 3, 2019The Austrian quality is an example for the rest of the world!! A very special place that people stay in line to get into. Remarkable place with very good coffee & a slice of the famous sachertorte!
- John BarnhamOctober 21, 2016World famous for chocolate cake, hence the queues and cramped seating. It's a nice cake, it's drier than I like, but it still feels a treat.
- Mateusz KrólAugust 15, 2016The unique Sacher cake, very good and not comparable to anything else, and one of the best coffee, it's worth of that money ;-)
- KristynaJune 22, 2016Great Sacher cake but the price is over the line ....u should visit, but once is enough
- Taylan EsenJanuary 31, 2015Best combination, is the Original Sacher Punschdesert, the one with rum inside, and black coffee, to keep the taste of tarte
- Canan CmDnzFebruary 9, 2016Sacher cake is so sweet that I cannot eat it all alone! Just ask for a Sacherwürfel which is smaller version of the original cake. You can get it with or without alcohol.
- Norah CordovaSeptember 20, 2018sacher torte enjoy a luxury chocolate cake and travel through time in every bite!
- Sachertorte. A classic. In Vienna only. This is old Vienna and Vienna that is talked about. Best cakes in town. Not only classics like Sachertorte and Apfelstrudel, but a whole variety of tasty cakes.
- Ara JzdAugust 17, 2016Try Maria Theresia kaffee ! Tastes so different from the other coffees that I've tried before .
- Funda TJune 26, 2015Never leave Vienna without trying the original sachertorte! Best chocolate cake ever! The cafe is quite fancy like the hotel but the staff was very friendly and welcoming.
- EdelynNovember 29, 2015Almost everyone here is a tourist. Get the Sacher torte with whipped cream and have it with eispanner (coffee). Sit by the window and watch the world go by.
- James GloverJune 2, 2018There’s a recently develop section of the hotel called Sacher Eck‘ meaning corner. Here’s there’s two cosy floors for your cake and coffee as well as a takeaway section.
- Robert BornAugust 19, 2014Sachertorte is a must - this is the place to taste in Wien, since it originated here! Try also the other typical desserts - it's a bit expensive but worth it.
- Bogdana BMay 12, 2019The best Sacher torte in town by far!!! Do not try it anywhere else even if here you have to wait in line to be seated (we waited about 10 min...)
- Burcu Gizem GülMay 8, 2016Thats very nice, lots of chocolate taste for original sacher; anyway it is delicious if u like chocolate ofcourse.. :)
- June ParkAugust 13, 2016Must try Einspänner & Sacher torte. You just can't leave Vienna without trying these two in Café Sacher.
- Alex ChiritescuNovember 27, 2016The main attraction is the original Sacher cake which is only sold at 2 locations. I wasn't blown away by it, it is quite sweet, but it has a pleasant flavor.
- Keagan van ZylJuly 25, 2019It has become a business that now relies on its brand rather than its product. It is a machine-made, dry and tasteless cake, served by staff who look worn out. You can find better in the supermarket.
- KennyMarch 6, 2015There are invisible dogs who aren't even ours, you better watch out for the door not to slam you when you go in our out! The cleanest and best public toilet everrr! Good overpriced cake and coffee.
- Benni PrinzDecember 4, 2017Tons of history! This is an institution and must be visited. The only downside is that it's in every guidebook so always a line.
- Dmytro VarvashenkoJanuary 2, 2020Worth visiting it because of superb traditional dessert that has given name to the café. Also such a tasty coffee called Melange to try.
- Hana SkovayovaDecember 28, 2012A traditional "Sacher Torte" is delicious! Nice service and atmosphere, it's a must stop for me every time I visit Viena.
- Chantelle MarieOctober 22, 2015Original Sacher torte spot! But the strudel is even more delicious so make room if you can :)
- Mike IslasNovember 10, 2016Love the decoration, excellent service, desserts taste delicious. Go after 8pm there are not lines. Is a must in Vienna
