- Great choice when it comes to flying to Southern California. Its very convenient & its very easy than traveling through LAX. Great thing about it is there's no long lines in check ins & Security.Upvoted Feb 28
- KimJune 21, 2013I always bring an empty water bottle and fill it up once I get through TSA. It's a great way to not annoy the flight attendants and get much more water than the tiny bottles at the concession stands.Upvoted Jan 23
- Mario EstradaDecember 3, 2012Quick and easy airport to navigate busiest during early morning flights but still much easier than any airport in the LA area.
- Most of the restaurants in the terminal are closed by 7pm. You either get to wait 20 minutes at the Route 66 Cafe for a grilled cheese or eat a lot of gift shop sugar free gum like Sean Spicer.
- Eat before you come here. Good restaurants close early here. I love how easy this airport is. In and out. Everyone very helpful and nice.
- Gary LevinFebruary 4, 2012Gateway to the Inland Empire...A better way to get to Riverside, never congested, easy parking, easy in and out
- J BJanuary 28, 2018Ensure you go to the right terminal to which your airline flies from as getting between the two is one long walk or a inconsistent shuttle!
- If flying Southwest, check out Rock & Brews while waiting for your flight. Great food, beer, and tons of cool rock memorabilia to check out
- Ralph MoránAugust 15, 2021TSA is often a million times more polite than other airports. It’s also usually not as insanely busy as most airports, and the flights often leave on time.
- Wow - stop and have a coffee before you get here. At this time, not a single place for good coffee. coffee bean shut down, so your only option is a deli or - can you believe it - a vending machine.
- Mouy TaingMay 26, 2022Honestly, if you have over 1 hour and change to spend at the airport…the $20.50 for a whole hour is so worth it!! 🥰 best way to relax before the plane ✈️
- Sean MillerAugust 10, 2014Best airport to fly into if you are visiting anyone in the inland parts of LA, OC and even Temecula.
- Be aware that the food choices are limited. If you are here Sunday night, the Carls Jr. and Pizza Hut close at 6:30 and the Schlotzsky's at 7:00. And other than the little bar, that's it.
- It’s a functional small airport. The car rental is just 10 min away using the shuttle. You have two kind of parking lots across the terminals. It is no much difference if you choose the cheap ones.
- Flying in the evening? Eat dinner before you come. Carl's Jr. Is as good as it gets and closes pretty early. BTW the rental car shuttle can be a bit slow.
- David CalhounMarch 19Great wifi speeds once you get through security. I couldn't seem to connect in the lobby before security.
- Jeff G.July 20, 2012All food and drink venues shut down at 6pm, so don't come hungry or thirsty... lame...
- It's easier to wrap your gifts at your destination rather than before you get there. It's not fair to the recipient that they're the 2nd one to open their gift.
- Tamara EvansDecember 15, 2014If you return one minute after your parking ticket time, you'll be charged for a full day!
- Real fast to get through. Quick places to eat is a little lacking and expensive. Round Table Pizza slices and Sclotzsky's sandwiches for $7. Combos at Round Table are ~$15 and ~$12 for Sclotzsky's.
- Best small airport in the area. Parking is easy, and the terminal is so small it's impossible to get lost. The only bummer is everything closes early.
- Kent SolidayApril 12, 2014I highly recommend the tequila bar. The people are friendly. Airports not busy, even on a Friday night
- NadiaSeptember 2, 2014Fast security lines, easy access to gates. A lot of road construction though; set aside some time to deal with that.
- Mandy RussellAugust 7, 2014Better to fly here than LAX. It's less crowded and complicated. Some terminals don't have a lot to offer for food choices.
- JasonJanuary 26, 2015Invest in TSA Pre ✅ for $85. You'll speed through the security line in 5 minutes, get to leave your shoes on and your laptop in your bag.
- J BJanuary 28, 2018International flights arriving here often get some congested due to CBP screening & lot of flights arriving close to each other!
- DoubleTree by HiltonSeptember 27, 2011Travel is a great excuse to clean out your purse! Getting rid of clutter in your carry-on bag will allow Transportation Security Officers to get a clear X-ray of your bag and save you time.
- Every airport has an Achilles heel. This one's is that you have to get onto a shuttle to offsite car rental.
- Dawn Krokroskia-MurrayNovember 10, 2012In and out love this airport eric American needs more flights though Car service sterling rose if u live in the IE is the best way to and from
- Lauren HannaJune 18, 2013It's a real shame how early the restaurants close here. It's 5pm on a Monday and only two places were open. Pretty sure flights out of ontario exceed 10pm. Pack a dinner next time.
- There's free WiFi, but internet connection not provided. Haha.
- Brian ReeseJuly 29, 2013My only complaint is the 2 hour limit on free WiFi. I was here for almost 4 hours. Needs unlimited WiFi!
- Rob JohnsonOctober 18, 2011If your flight leaves after 5 from terminal 2, get some food before heading to the airport. Nothing is open to buy food or drinks after 5pm. Otherwise, ONT is great for getting through fast!
- Try Schlotsky's sandwiches! Mmm. A nice relatively quiet airport.
- Friday morning flight before 7am?? Give yourself at least 1:00 time once you reach the front doors. 2 TSA agents checking ID's, lines are 150people deep lately.
- KikiSeptember 22, 2011Traffic is not nearly as bad as LAX, get in and out quickly with punctual flights. Parking is a breeze! This airport is for FLYING only, little to no stores and/or food lol
- Easy in and easy out. Rental car place is short ride in a bus.
- Erin HoltDecember 27, 2012Parking in lot 5 sucks if you come in later than midnight & it's cold. They have 1 shuttle running & you have to wait 40min or walk.
- MetroSeeker.comOctober 12, 2011We are always impressed at how much easier travelling is in this airport than most! Enjoy it, but don't get used to it!
- The rental car shuttle bus takes forever (all rental companies). Plenty of time and patience is a necessity if you're renting/returning a car.
- Don't expect to find front lot parking. Instead enter the lot through the street side for lots of open spots.
- Best airport in Socal with respect to (no) traffic and (relatively little) wait time going through security. Makes LAX seem like the 12th circle of hell by comparison. I pay extra to fly here
- There is a Cinnabon here! It's in same store as this Mexican food place but you can find it by smell :)
- Fastest TSA line ever, but if you come hungry, you are going to have to wait till you reach your destination! Most of the time only the magazine store was open.
- Restaurants/shops close at 5pm, or never open in the first place. Bring your own food or go hungry!
