The signature Artichoke pizza is not for everyone, but the Sicilian slice, with its crispy edges and supple mozzarella crown, will appease the pizza purists. Read more
The signature artichoke slice (topped with a thick cream sauce, mozzarella, pecorino, artichoke and spinach) is a perfect indulgence when it's late and you're tipsy. Read more
Everyone goes for the artichoke slice (too heavy).I love the margherita, Sicilian and vodka slice. Dine in-white pizza with side of sauce, stuffed artichoke and salad in pizza box! Expensive for pizza
The pizza here is a thick bready slice. The artichoke pizza is artichoke dip on top of pizza. The crab slice is interesting, creamy and I like it spicy. There are no seats and just counters.
Delicious if hella creamy. I tried the crab, artichoke, and margarita. All were awesome, and super hearty. This is a different take on pizza, but one I think you'll dig
Awesomazing pizza! Must order a whole pie if you want a table. Long line for a slice is not a bad idea either. One slice is gigantic. Love their creamy artichoke pizza.
Artichoke pizza. If you like cheese and white sauce, this is your new york happy place. My fave was the crab. A little of a sweet-chilli sauce vibe. So good. Huge slices.
While it may not always look pretty, the vodka slice may just be their most underrated menu item. Note that it has a bit of a kick to it, so people who prefer a spicier flavor should appreciate it.
Do you like artichoke dip? Do you like pizza bigger than your face? Then this is definitely the slice for you. Definitely not your traditional NYC dollar slice, but a New York classic just the same.
Here's how good it is: You will voluntarily continue to burn your mouth over and over bc you don't have the patience for it to cool off. 2 crab slices will stuff you more than Thanksgiving. Ze best!
Pizza is great, but artichoke pizza is INCREDIBLE. Prices are accesibles and the place is great for a late night. Service is very quick if there are no lines. TRY ARTICHOKE!!
The original heart attack slice. Obviously good but don't plan on going dancing, doing aerobics, being a fugitive, trying out for a basketball team, or paragliding anytime soon afterwards.
Loved this place when I visited/moved here back in 2011, but recently, the quality of their ingredients seem to be diminishing. I always go back, giving them the benefit of the doubt, but no luck.
Absolutely love this place. It's one of those places u visit in the middle of the night after a few drinks. Pizza's the size of my face...but i always devour the whole thing! (4 of 4 petals via Fondu) Read more
I'm partial to the crab slice, personally. It's probably not allowed, but seems to be fine to take your beer and pizza outside and hang out in front. There's a few spots to rest your drink.
Must try the artichoke pizza, obviously, but share a slice with a friend so you don't overstuff yourself. The guys who work there will gladly cut it for you!
You can't go somewhere named Artichoke Pizza and not at least try it. Good thing a perfect balance between the melted sauce, cheese, artichokes and not too much salt makes it incomparable to others.
The Artichoke slice itself is monumental, but don't overlook the superior slice of the plain Margarita. Everything from the sauce to the dusting of Parmesan makes this a contender for best slice in NY
Seriously, THE BEST pizza EVER. I would eat it for breakfast, lunch & dinner if it weren't for me living on the other side of the damn country in LA...I dream about it, I think about it, I salivate.
I got the artichoke pizza and it was delicious for the first half. But it got way too heavy towards the end. Delicious but left feeling gross afterwards.
Believe the hype. The artichoke pizza is my favorite slice of pizza I've had. It is one of a kind. Worth standing in line for. Don't think about it. Just get it.
Get one slice and a soda and you're all set for lunch, but be warned: only the artichoke pizza is worth a try. Crab on pizza, as tempting as it sounds, is not a good idea.
For late night pizza when there's a huge line, just sit down in the seating area and order small artichoke pizza with 6ish slices for $16. Quick, good service also helps beat the line.
YO JUST GET SLICES CUZ THE SIT DOWN AREA IS MAD SLOW AND THEY'LL TAKE 35 MINUTES TO COOK YOUR MARGHERITA PIZZA AND YOU'LL ALMOST BE LATE TO YOUR 8:30 MOVIE BECAUSE OF IT
Try not to burn your mouth devouring a monstrous, spinach & artichoke slice here. If you want something more traditional, try the margherita. Open til 5AM for all you night owls!
If it's your first time, go with the namesake artichoke and spinach pizza. If it's your second trip, and you can pull yourself away from the artichoke pizza, try the margherita pizza!
Don't expect much when you get to the place... but be prepared to be blown away when you take your first bit of their unique pizza flavors. Artichoke is my fav!!! 1 slice will most likely fill you up Read more
Some of the best pizza in the city. Artichokes and a rich sauce cover these thick pies. Make sure you let it cool down before taking a bite, the slices come out very hot!
No matter the time, be prepared to wait in line, but the specialty artichoke slice is worth it. The margherita is also delicious. Located near many East Villagebars and open well past last call.
Some hearts make you wait in line. And such is the case at Artichoke Pizza, whose fans (among them Keith Richards) queue up nightly for some of their famed slices, including their signature artichoke.
They're open late so you can have your artichoke pizza slices all hours of the day. Deliciousness of artichoke pizza is consistent regardless of sobriety levels
This is the stuff dreams are made of if your dreams include waltzing on clouds of alfredo-like sauce while spinach and artichoke sun rays dance over your body and you prance in puddles of cheese.
I suggest the creamy artichoke-laden pie or the simple margarita, slathered with tangy and sweet San Marzano tomato sauce and basil. It's so fresh that you'd swear it was just picked a few hours ago o
the artichoke pizza will blow you away. get what the place is known for. one slice is huge and it'll fill you up. great place to hit up after the bars. worth waiting on line for! you won't regret it!
first time i ate here i wasn't sure if the pizza tastes so good because i was wasted. had to come back in order to be certain. now i have no doubts: one of the best slices in the city!
One of the most unique. A big, thick, heavy brick of a slice you could honestly kill a man with. Topped with artichoke.PS - The clam slice is gross. If you want a clam pie, go to New Haven, CT.
Definitely call ahead to verify your order- we'd ordered a few days before and they forgot. Waited around for them to make six pies. Will report back with a verdict
Pizzaiolos, cousins and best friends, Francis Garcia and Sal Basille opened Artichoke Basille's on 14th St. in 2008. Having gotten their hands into the business early working at their family restaurants, Basille's in Staten Island, they boys and their pizza shop have made more than a name for the...
