Make sure to visit San Jalisco Mexican restaurant if you're in the mood for authentic Mexican food. It's on 20th and S. Van Ness, not too far from BART stop. It's my all time favorite.

If you're getting off at Embarcadero for FiDi make sure to get on on the second-to-last cart for quickest access to the escalator/stairs

On weekends, if you don’t want to wait in the hot station, take any train. Make the change at West Oakland if necessary.

El Farolito, kitty-corner to the station, has IMO the best burritos in SF. Get past the sketchy exterior/interior and find cheap, amazing food! Yum!
