This is the place to go if you want comfort food or Southern classics like hush puppies alongside your Memphis-style (dry rubbed and hickory smoked) ribs. Read more

The corn bread is great. Has corn kernels in it. It comes with maple syrup butter, which is amazing. Also try Georgia chicken fried steak. Big portion with 2 sides. Totally worth it.

If you're hungry somewhere near Times Square, this is the place you'll need to stop. Great food, short waiting time, prices aren't too high.

I went with my best friend Rosie for the first time and the ribs were so delicious. I ordered the trash ribs with Mac and cheese and collar greens. I was in heaven with this delicious meal.

The brisket and 1/4 BBQ chicken combo is an excellent choice. The ribs are great too. My plus one and I had the hush puppies with maple butter and the wings for starters. Try the honey lemonade.

Authentic southern BBQ. Go hungry like a true Redneck and order a spiked Peach Tea, which is strong yet refreshing. The mac 'n cheese, pulled pork, and pickled beets are to die for.

Trainwreck Fries are a must. I got pick three with Memphis Ribs, Pulled Pork, and Brisket and all three r great. BBQ Nachos not that good b/c wasnt much beef in them. Appetizer portions are too big.

Much better BBQ than you would expect for times square. If there are 2 of you, get two combos to share - brisket, pulled chicken pulled pork and the trash ribs. You won't leave hungry

I'll recommend you to get Trainwreck Fries but make sure you are hungry. It's writing below the starters but it is not a starter, it's a huge and delicious dish!!

First time having BBQ food in the USA and it was great! I feel like I shouldn't eat again for a week, but regret nothing. Pulled pork was really good, as was the Mac and Cheese 😋

Great BBQ. The sign of a great BBQ joint is if they can make a great brisket without it being dry. I had a brisket sandwich which was fabulous

Classic southern style bbq. Simple but good. Try the pork ribs, or the brisket. They are finger-lickin' good. Good beer assortment too.

My best tip for everyone is to make reservations before going there, because you will have to wait a while if you don’t have any. I made my reservations ahead of time.

Margs will get you lit, pulled pork will get you stuffed, the staff is great and the game is always on. Forget about table setting, we only sit at the bar. Def try the Trainwreck Fries.

There aren't many great restaurants at times square, but the BBQ here is solid. Far better than Dallas BBQ in the area. Ribs and brisket were tender. Service was fast. Food a little pricey.

Tender brisket, slide-off-the-bone ribs, and mouth-watering pulled pork. Get any of those and pair it with the trainwreck fries, you won't know what to do with yourself.

Mediocre grill. Tried the platter for 2, lots of meat, but arrived nearly cold at our table. Friendly staff, good beer, prices cheap for times square!

Virgil's was inspired by some of the most notable BBQ in the South. Now you can try Southern cooking right in the middle of Times Square.
