was skeptical at first but the guacamole is 100% worth it. sizeable portions that justify the price. fajitas, enchiladas, shrimp tacos, and steak are all winner
Delicious tableside guacamole! Frozen pomegranate margaritas are a great way to kick off the night. Tacos are very good but come here for plated Mex. Mole, braised dishes and Ceviches +chef specials.
If you stop by here for happy hour, which runs from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, you can score $7 flautas, empanadas, quesadillas and tacos. And obviously, there are some sweet booze deals. Read more
I never finish my meals and I finished their fish tacos and could have kept going! they were that delicious. By far the best I've ever had in the city. The atmosphere is awesome. Highly recommend
Prix fix lunch menu is a great value! Main course you get is an actual entree size. And food comes with big value. Churros is so good I can just come here for dessert
The chicken tacos are amazing here! And make sure you get some of their fresh madeguacamole - they make it right in front of you (almost like Benihana).
We stop by here often for a quick bite between shows during Fashion Week. Have the handmadeGuacamole (they mix it at your table to your preference!) and the Pomegranate Margaritas!
Sure, the guacamole is delicious and a must have. Yet this chain restaurant shows its cookie-cutter kitchen with boring enchiladas. Do yourself a favor: stick to the guac and a drink, then leave.
Used to love Rosa Mexicano but, my recent visit to their Lincoln Center Columbus Avenue location will be my last. Current General Manager was the most appalling restaurant experience ever.
Excellent guacamole smashed table-side, though otherwise overpriced for what it is. To grab a post-work margarita, you're better heading a few blocks down 9th to the newer, more fun Tacuba instead.
Boring, bland, overpriced and disappointing. The guac is flavorless. They also have zero spicy peppers or hot sauce if you're into that. They do have outdoor seating though.
The guacamole made tableside to your specifications really rocks! If you're going around Lincoln Center performance times make a reservation beforehand.
Pollomole and mangoMargherita - food & service is good - difficult to have a conversation at the table unless you speak really loud or concentrate real hard
Elegant evocations of regional Mexican fare, from the legendary mole known as manchamanteles ("tablecloth stainer"), to mixiotes, lamb shanks braised with dried chiles and tequila in parchment.
Go to Rosa Mexicano before a Lincoln Center (or Lincoln Center Plaza, or Lincoln Square) outing, and be sure to marvel @ the coolest wall in NYC. Also? The guacamole (made tableside!) and the churros. Read more
The restaurant is not expensive (Average p/p is $50 including tip) and the food is amazing! If you haven't tried the guacamole, you haven't really been here.
