you're here because of the soup dumplings - don't overcomplicate the experience with other items. best method: add hot+soy sauces to spoon. place dumpling on top. bite tip, slurp soup. eat dumpling!

We all know about the xiao long bao, but I have another secret: the scallion pancakes!! Best in the city IMO. Crispy outside, chewy inside, never greasy. Wash down with a Tsingtao, thank me later. 😋

The pork soup dumplings were so GOOD ! Also the green onion cake things were surprisingly really yummy, as was the pan fried noodles. I was surprised at just how many celebrities had been there too !

Get the pork steamed buns, they're so so delicious! Line on the weekends is big. You might have to share a table with other people, but that's also fun. They only accept cash.

Get two orders of the soup dumplings: pork & crab/pork, along w/ scallion pancakes. Start w/ the dumplings by pinching a hole at the top. Drip some of the vinegar w/ ginger. Sip the soup before eating

The dumplings are incredible, and the food portions are huge. You could definitely share an entree with a couple of people. Very busy, you'll be seated with people you don't know.

Soup dumplings!!! Can't go wrong with the pork or the crab soup dumplings. Get the Shanghai fried rice and garlic bok choy as side dishes to compliment your dumplings!

Obviously the soup dumplings are amazing, duh. But so is basically everything else they make. We'll usually order a round of dumplings as an app and share an entree like their deelish moo shu pork.

Best soup dumplings in NYC. Worst wait to get dumplings in the world! If you have a party of 4+ just give up and eat at different tables. A 15 minute wait can easily be transformed into a 1 hr+ wait.

Perfect! You can share one big table or wait for individual. I suggest to share an interact with all customers :) you must order number 9, 10 dumplings and something else. But dumplings are mandatory!

Don't be put off by the line, they turn tables extremely quickly. Once inside, don't miss the scallion pancakes and don't forget to drink all the Tsingtaos.

This is the best Chinese restaurant in NYC hands down. You might have to share the table with strangers, but you won't regret it. Order the dumplings, a lot of them. Pancakes are also a must.

If you can't get the waiters attention, try calling them "foo-woo-you-an". Also to get your bills, try saying "foo-woo-you-an, my-da-an" :) that's a sure way to get their attention!

Amazing dumplings. We had the pork soup dumplings. Noodle dishes are pretty large and a little too greasy for my taste but you have a lot of different options. Dumplings are a must tho :)

Good food. Stick to what you know don't mix flavors. Dumplings have a strong taste so eat them in small bites. Plates are big don't order a lot 1 enough for 2 people. Favorite: the spring rolls

Shanghai Soup Dumplings! There isn't another place in NYC where as soon as you sit down your waiter asks if you want soup dumplings before he hands menu. Of course you do, that's what you're here for!
