Eschew a cab and take the R1 "AirportLine" on SEPTA to get to Center City for only $7 bucks! Roughly on the 1/4 and 3/4 hour depending on your terminal.
Don't be fooled by all the cars stopped in the lanes on the way in. Philly natives make their own rules. There is a free cell phone waiting lot while you wait for flights to arrive.
If you leave all your weapons behind you can pass through security. Go thru one of the gates and you can travel to any other part of the map. Some of your inventory items may be missing tho(it's a bug)
If you have the time, walk to terminal B/C mall to Legal Seafood. Great food, great booze, makes you feel like you are not in the airport waiting for a flight!!
Take a break, or catch up on sleep between flights or during long delays with Philadelphia International Airport's new Minute Suites. This is only the second airport in the U.S. offering these!
This is one of the nicer larger airports on the east coast. Lots of shopping and food places. I appreciate the rocking chairs they have scattered about- good for people watching
Try Local in terminal F.....tons of good beer and food...and everything ordered from your individual Ipad....plus you can monitor your flight while you drink... .perfect!
Whatever may be said about terminal F, the renovations have made it much improved. It now has a wide variety of food options, including a local favorite of mine, Le Bus.
If you get stuck in any American airport, make sure you're in terminal C at PHL. This terminal has everything: a huge shopping mall, cutecoffee shops and restaurants, and rocking chairs! Nice staff 2
Everything in the stores is very high... If you are from Philly breakfast doesn't cost $15 /// eat before you get here if you se coming to airport from Philly!
Decent facilities, but there will always be tarmac delays due to constraints in the airspace. This is particularly true for flights departing later in the afternoon or in the evening.
Lots of local flavor like Philly PretzelFactory & La Colombe, & even a mini Liberty Bell in the gift shop, but these jabronis don’t have anywhere to buy a Hanks Root Beer? Straight drawlin that jawn
Welcome to Philly - home of cheesesteaks, brotherly love and three professional sports teams. The driving distance between the airport and downtown is approximately 9 miles.
The cushy seats in the glassed-in walkway between D & E are a good place to read or check e-mail, and there's a great view of flights coming and going (even though E isn't the busiest terminal.
Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) is the only major airport serving the 5th largest metropolitan area in the United States. PHL is owned and operated by the City of Philadelphia. www.phl.org
Nicely updated airport with great dining options and a surprisingly fast customs process. But avoid domestic checked baggage the wait can be close to an hour
Not a lot of seating towards the end of E terminal. I always grab a comfy chair in between D and E. There's charging plugs and USB ports by some of the comfy chairs too.
Connect to the Internet (where available) and be nice to the flight crew. Remember, they have jobs that are just as (--or more--) challenging than most others.
Although more spots in the airport advertise having Apple Pay, only a few actually have staff that know how to make this work from the employee-side (this last visit, Dunkin worked)
Can't find power? Sky Asian Bistro in terminal c has 110 AND usb at every bar seat and several outlets by the tables. Pad Thai is a tasty good deal. One bright spot in an otherwise crappy airport.
Flying out of terminal D? Hit currito for your 5 hrs flightsnacks. Ten bar symon for your pre flight beverage. Especially when ur flights delayed. Life goes on, dont stress.😄 100 flights
Sbarro's is terrible. Don't fall prey to the pretty pizza pictures. On the bright side, terminal F has a cool lounge area w/ couches & charging stations. Lots of good shopping & fancy restaurants
Pretty large airport with short security lines, well I am a priority traveler. Anyway, they also have an admiral's club so don't miss it! It's the best place to wait for your flight.
In B Terminal, there are too few restrooms, and their moving walkways are too narrow to truly "stand to the right, walk to the left." Good news. They have a The Gap for some layover shopping.
"Miss Viv" at the security checkpoint closest to the C gates is the best airport employee ever. "Young people, we have a sexy single young lady over here, and if you're single, too, buy her a coffee."
If your a trusted traveler...the New TSA-PRE gate at Gate C is great. Don't have to remove Laptop, shoes, belt, jacket. Just drop pages ...and walk through
Please don't check your brain when you check your bag. Use common sense and treat ppl the way you want to be treated at your place of employment! Have a safe and enjoyable flight
