Wonderful music. Really great feel to the place. Maybe it’s the wood; the photos, the bar placement. There are no books, but it feels like a place you could comfortably disappear in.

Popular live music on Frenchmen Street. If you're willing to pay a cover (usually $10-$15), visit here as you'll see the most famous bands and acts in the city. They also have a free upstairs level.

Great music and in a blue and somber atmosphere. A big stage, plenty of space dance and an important stop in any New Orleans tour of Frenchmen Street.

What a great spot for live music. Tickets sell out early so cop em online! The inside isn't as crowded though so there's at least room to dance.

If you think Bourbon Street is too "touristy" and the quality of music not good enough, then head to the Blue Nile in Frenchmen st: you won't be disappointed. Cab is the best way to reach it

Overrated. Arrogant door staff, crazy ID policy. After 8 without ID is a problem, before it isn't. Asked for explanation, got a very uninterested shrug. Nah man. Go somewhere else!

While the godiva martini is amazing it's overpriced and we were kicked out of our bar seats for the "owner". If I was the owner I wouldn't be kicking out paying customers from seats not too smart.
