Get the original Hell Burger 10 oz. done Medium Rare with sautéed mushrooms and roasted garlic. Onion fries on the side. Was absolutely delicious. One of the best burgers I've ever had. Ask for Eli!

Great place to grab an excellent burger in Rosslyn/Arlington, really everything on the menu is fantastic. There is also a second location in the same shopping plaza and they accept credit cards now.

The strong suit at Ray's is the hand-trimmed beef blend and the way it's cooked. Sides of watermelon and corn on the cob are built into even the basic $6.95 hamburger. Read more

The legendary Arlington burger joint is worth the wait in line. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The Au Poivre burgers are just amazing. Bring the cash money 'cause credit cards are a no-no.

The burger's here are all good. Last time I was there I ordered "the mack" it was amazing. Their mac and cheese is also very good. Make sure you bring cash because this place is CASH ONLY!!!

Of all the restaurants Pres. Obama has visited in Washington, the only one to have merited a 2nd visit is this bare-bones burger joint. The patty is 10 oz. of prime, aged beef and eats like a steak.

Freshly ground sirloin, seasoned & hand packed to juicy perfection on a homemade roll: Thank You Sir, may I have another? This DC suburb joint may not look pretty, but surely will taste that way.

Without a doubt the steak au poivre is the best way to enjoy Ray's Hell Burger. Order it RARE and you will have the most amazing culinary experience of popular sandwich. Best burger I have ever had!

Skip the fancy cheeses. Just get your burger au poivre. Best burger you'll EVER have. Don't worry if there's not a table. I promise one will come free before your food is ready!

Best to just make your own burger. Try the Original, prepared as Au Poivre medium with fried egg. More tips & pics @ http://www.nomnomboris.com

Burgers are outstanding (I like mine au poivre with guacamole). Sides are all pretty good. Shakes, however, are meh. If you want something sweet, try Cafe Assorti across the street.

Ray's makes some giant, juicy burgers, that will require lots of napkins, or one really big bib. Check out my homemade review. Read more

The President went to Ray's Hell-Burger, and owner Michael Landrum had to scrap plans for a seafood restaurant and move the burger business into that space to accommodate the overflow.

Let them cook it their way. It's much more likely to be medium-rare through and through instead of partially tartare. And come hungry!

Do yourself a favor. The first time you go, get your burger grilled. Not au poivre, blackened, or diablo. Set a baseline for yourself. You'll be back.
