It's really fun, and relaxing to stroll around this park. When visiting here, do stop by the market, and remember to pick up some honey, and some sweet apple cider (it's delicious). Read more

Be in the center of it all when bringing your pup to the Union Square Dog Run. Nearby Ghandi statue keeps it zen while the pups have a crazy good time.

Sit on the steps on the southern edge of the park for some of the best people watching in NYC. Extra credit if you grab a fruit smoothie thing from the guy on 16th and Union Square West.

Best farmers market in the city. Make it a weekly routine to pick from your local farmers versus your friendly neighborhood whole foods. Id rather overpay here and talk with the farmer.

It's feels great sitting on the stairs or lawn with a cup of coffee. Great for hours of people watching. Stop to look at the statues. Most people don't even notice them.
