Designed by Max Abramovitz, the hall opened in 1962 as Philharmonic Hall, as the new home concert venue of the New York Philharmonic, after the orchestra moved from Carnegie Hall.
This is a gorgeous part of NY, each time I come there's something new and exciting to hear!! Barstaff had not poured the inverval drink so would have been quicker to buy at the interval.
Home of New York Philharmonic and lots of Lincoln center performance. The program performed here are audience focused and well designed to educate. Down to earth design for a pure taste of music.
