Grapefruit sculpin, sculpin, and pineapple sculpin are all great refreshing IPAs. I love how cold they serve them here. Perfect for a hot summer day. Victory at Sea is an incredibly flavorful porter.

The brewery (as most SD micros do) has a rotating tap of things you can't get at the store. The staff is helpful + friendly and the beers are always very good. They still experiment. ..good on them.

As mentioned sculpin is a classic San Diego favorite. Any of the spicy version is serious ;).Try the black eye: (half black marlin + half big eye).Indra canundra is an exotic curry based beer. Try it!

Pipper down's my favorito but the y have severa great beers... blues cheese nachos is a mustia a Long with their burguer, beef rather than lamb... catering 's as great...

This location is closing sometime later this year. It’s not the original Ballast location, but it is the one that enabled their hyper-growth, & it still feels the most like a proper tasting room.

The Indra is a very interesting brew! Take advantage of testers when ordering, there are many great options.

SD's 2nd largest craft brewery, it's also one of the first to dive into the world of Spirits! Take a tour & make sure to try the Sculpin IPA! Its popularity assures it rarely makes its way out of SD.

Just a thought, Dust your shelves before putting out new product Especially when a customer mentions it to you while you are placing the product on the dirty shelf, shows costumer does not matter.
