    It is totally focused on innovative proposals but it is the oldest performing arts center in US ( it opened in 1815). There are great cinema and theatre programs and amazing concerts. Read more

    Besides the award-winning theatre and dance productions, BAM's also a great place just to see a movie, because usually it's filled with (respectful) film nerds - even new releases.
