- Leigh AnnOctober 28, 2016Ooooh, just moved to the neighborhood and went here for the first time. $5 happy hour sangria (that is strong) and $ happy hour tapas. The goat cheese croquettes were amazing. Will definitely be back!
- Edomia zaide BereheApril 11, 2018Best tapas I’ve had in New York and the ambiance is amazing. Get there early or you’ll struggle getting a table. Wait on weekends can be up to 1hr or more sometimes.
- Josh EagleJune 14, 2017I'm not a vegan, but vegan food can taste delicious. THIS PAELLA WAS VEGAN AND DELICIOUS. Setting is gentle and has similar emotion to southern Spain. My new favorite neighborhood spot💥😀
- Best happy hour on the planet. Red sangria, romesco, fried chickpeas, falafel-crusted artichokes, and Spanish pitza are required.
- Elsa JennaMarch 6, 2019Go for lunch on a weekday and order the split pea soup or the salmon sandwich special. The menu has a lot of options and they’re all great! Ps:on weekends you’ll wait in line forever!
- Natalie Cotto CastroJune 28, 2016Great place for tapas! In love with the almond stuffed bacon wrapped dates! Lamb meatballs and trio are great! Come prepared as there is always waiting time and service is slow
- Definitely a place to check out when you are around. Food menu changes often which i like. The tuna sandwich during the week is amazing but it does not matter what you get. It is always good.
- One of my favorite brunches in Brooklyn. If you want to eat early, make sure to get there before they open or you won't get a table for an hour. Lamb hash is amazing (and huge).
- Diane Jean-MaryOctober 15, 2016The farro veggie pasta was a dream. The restaurant is beautiful and cozy. Great for date night
- EatMeDrinkMeNYCMarch 23, 2013Incredible. Great service, amazing care with the details. We had 7 different dishes between 8 of us and all were amazing. The Savory Parmesan Toast (Olea's twist on Eggs Benedict) is a favorite.
- Kevin GrantNovember 16, 2016Amazing atmosphere and amazing food. Truly a gem, would go back multiple times. The artichoke dish was amazing, as was the beef meatballs, however everything was delicious and service was great.
- Sam GilMay 7, 2016The shrimp with french sauce, bacon wrapped almonds, haloumi all great. Everything is very extravagant and rich flavors. Nice with a bottle of wine. Go slow..order one or two dishes at a time.
- Always get paella. The cocktails are deliciously boozy, the Tuscan kale salad and bacon wrapped dates are amazing. Laurie the host was great and accommodating. She made waiting very pleasant.
- Love it here. Neighborhoody. Pretty corner. Super fresh and satisfying Med flavors.
- Santi AmayaJuly 18, 2015Absolutely loved the bacon wrapped dates and patatas bravas. Tried two other dishes off their specials that weren't very good. Overall worth a visit. They have a lot of options on the menu
- Tyler GalpinJanuary 1, 2017Wow. This place impressed the hell outta me. Halloumi was delicious, oysters were perfect, and the paella was very nicely portioned for 2 people. Would definitely come back here.
- Vanessa RuedaSeptember 9, 2016artichokes+falafel= wow but artichokes + falafel on an eggplant bed= beyond words. Amazing texture, freshness and flavor. WOW!
- Everything is excellent, even the coffee. Brunch = GreenEggs&Lamb and LambHash. Lamb haters, this place makes GREAT lamb dishes. Entrees = The Tapas menu is great, and I'm not a tapas fan ordinarily.
- Bob WassermannJune 15, 2016Amazing sandwiches, they are served with patatas bravas, which sets the sandwich apart from other sandwich places. Get a seat outside on a sunny day to enjoy the neighborhood
- Megan PaoloneMay 19, 2017Get the fried olives! So delicious. Also, the dips with endives and pita. Reasonable prices, and such a beautiful space too — can't wait to come back during the day.
- Rebecca BrannonSeptember 21, 2018Tasty tapas in Brooklyn. Good atmosphere. Nice to see the manager digging in to help keep the place pleasant for both customers and staff.
- Thomas Vander WalFebruary 24, 2020It was packed on a Tuesday night, but was able to sit at the bar and have a great meal. The braised chicken with artichoke hearts was amazing.
- Xoe_June 12, 2016Went here on a date for dinner. Was a little disappointed in their vegetarian options. However I ordered the farro pasta and was in love.
- Kate ShawOctober 26, 2019The chicken paella (with chorizo) was delicious. We also liked the kale salad. Excited to come back with friends so we can try more dishes.
- Alice EunjinApril 29, 2015"The Turkish Breakfast. It’s a mix of scrambled eggs, cilantro, tomato & red onion, fattoush, eggplant salad, herbed yogurt, and grilled pita bread. Basically, you're gonna be full."
- Michael CiccaroneOctober 6, 2014Split some tapas! Favorites were the pitza, the mushrooms, and the lamb meatballs! Will skip the shrimp next time.

- Ryan ZolaApril 16, 2014The Turkish Breakfast. It’s a mix of scrambled eggs, cilantro, tomato & red onion, fattoush, eggplant salad, herbed yogurt, and grilled pita bread. Basically, you're gonna be full.
- Danny CarnajeMay 27, 2016It's small, but if you go at an off-peak hour with your friends, the more tapas you'll be able to order. Can't go wrong with anything there!
- Please order the spiced olives and manchengo cheese!! And I recommend the kale salad, and lamb kefedes! You won't regret it! My favorite restaurant in the world!
- Robert StewartJune 9, 2015The meat paella is one of then top 5 things I've eaten in my whole life. Can't to to go back!
- MonishaMarch 27, 2016All is right in the world when coming to Olea. Things that are in point: Brussel Sprouts, orecchiette pasta, Paella, etc....
- Luc DoanNovember 16, 2015Great sangria served by an attentive staff. I really enjoyed the lamb keftedes, halloumi cheese, and fried chickpeas. The paella was just ok.
- DJ TREATSNovember 15, 2012Such a pleasant bathroom. Fresh flowers, very spacious between you, the door, and the sink. You could spend the afternoon here reading and reflecting on your meal.
- Christina LaFonteApril 24, 2013Amazing! The hummus is great...they also have lots of $3-5 tapas, all delish. The orchiette pasta is a must try. Very cute, rustic feel.
- Rachel PortJuly 21, 2015Wow, the bacon wrapped dates, sheeps milk feta & red pepper dip, fried oyster sliders, and the goat cheese croquettes... Wow
- LisaApril 3, 2018I do like it here, but both times the lamb was overcooked. The breakfasts seem to be a hit. At night crowds are in the middle of sidewalk which is so rude & annoying. A little too-too for FtGreen
- Not quite a neighborhood secret, but tapas/sangria happy hour is not to be missed..... Also, off-menu kids meals if you go early and ask nicely.
- Don TorranceJune 17, 2016This place was a tapas haven. Amazing food and delicious sangria. The only thing that was just OK was the falafel crusted artichoke.
- KristiaMarie Pastor BalatbatJune 26, 2015Poutine for breakfast was bomb! Everyone else had braised lamb shoulder skillet which was also very delicious and very meaty!
- Doug SMarch 29, 2013skirt steak, fried halumi, falafel crusted artichoke hearts, lamb meatballs with feta purée. I sound like foochebag but these are all solid choices.
- Adrian PhillipsMarch 24, 2017This place really is incredible. Get the paella. All of them look amazing, the seafood one we had was fantastic. To start get the octopus, haloumi special and Greek potatoes (patatas braces with feta)
