Order a Three Africans au lait, short on the milk. I usually ask for it in a to-go cup (stays hot longer). Leave 2-3 inches of room and top off with steamed straus organic milk. Add sugar. Perfection!

Not ready for a dinner date yet? Meet for a pressure-free lunch at The Summit. Try the hot pork or the 28 hr short rib sandwich. Hydrate with an Apple Dapple. Tell Desi (the owner) we sent you :)

Refreshing to find a coffee shop that has locally sourced healthy food. Love the Hot Pork sandwich with no bread and extra greens. Sausage and Grits rocks too.

Excellent coffee, food, atmosphere. Only drawback is that the backless chairs make it difficult to sit and work for long periods. But maybe that's the point?

Hands down, the Mission is the nicest/coolest/funest place in all of SF. The Summit – AKA i/o ventures – is the Mission's best coffee spot. Hands down.

For a refreshing coffee drink that's a break from the norm, try Summit's Cold Infusuion coffee. It's akin to a chai with coffee instead of tea

Full of startup people and open relatively late at night. If you're working on a laptop, bring a power strip as the outlet availability is quite limited.
