- Frances JamesNovember 30, 2014Great for thick and thin crust. Greg's favorites are the chicken pesto thin crust (ask for extra pesto) and the Brass Monkey (off the menu - thick crust tomato/spinach with sausage)
- Annie 🌺 JalotaJuly 31, 2019Good spot for deep dish! Plenty of veg options. I like that the smaller pizzas are perfect to share between two people, and you can do half and half. Friendly staff and worth a visit!
- Martin CunananJanuary 29, 2017The deep dish classic of 🍅, pepperroni, olives, onion and garlic was delicious. And the thin crust Valencia was topped with garlic-infused olive oil, ham, ricotta, emmentaler&bacon. One happy tummy.
- Jeroen MarisNovember 13, 2013From the outside the place seemed a bit obscure, but the interior was great and I've never had a deep dish pizza that even came close to theirs. I'd recommend it to everyone passing by in SF!
- WhiskeyAvengerJune 15, 2018I have had every variation of pizza on their menu. It is all delicious. Plus their beer list is a great accompaniment to the food.
- T ZDecember 22, 2015California on the left (good). Pesto chicken on the right (not so good). Also their "garlic bread" = bread with actual garlic on the side.
- Neel HajareJune 18, 2022Lunch special personal pizza is way cheaper. They’ve got a barebottle tap, but all their wines are cheaper for a bottle at a store than a glas
- WhiskeyAvengerJune 13, 2018My favorite spot in the city for delicious pizza and wine. Their small but well put together wine list is fantastic from top to bottom.
- Half Little Star, half vegetarian is a winner. If you're getting it to go have a beer at the bar while you wait. Cornmeal crust is out of this world.
- Diana ArzMarch 14, 2016Get half and half. The classic was tastier than little star. Pretty fresh, but overall prefer Tony's pizza.
- Tasty pizza. Most come for the deep dish but the thin crust is tasty too. Get the chicken wings!! So delicious
- corn meal deep dish is great, but the thin crust is often overlooked (and excellent)
- Rumana SiddikyMarch 26, 2014Little Star and Chicken Pesto "thin crust" both great. Though you could only call that a thin crust when it's next to that deep dish!
- Kunal PatelMarch 19, 2016Pizza was good, but I loved the Mixed salad. Would go back just for that. For 2 ppl, split a large salad and small deep dish.
- Tom CoatesJune 1, 2018I don’t totally get this place. Everything’s delicious but it’s so damn heavy and solid. If you need an orgy of food, this is the place.
- Kevin BurgJuly 23, 2015I'm always a fan of a pizza place that correctly makes the crust crispy. Two pies were enough for our table of five.
- Priya SaiprasadFebruary 26, 2014The classic thin crust pizza blew my mind away - so freaking delicious. Also, the pear cider is great... Just sayin'
- Caro SchieferMarch 26, 2017Very good pizza and especially the kind of quiche-pizza. Taste is perfect, however hot is very hot.
- Despite the incursion of Detroit-style 🍕 places in close proximity, Little ⭐️ continues to own the Deep Dish game in the Mission & beyond
- Laura CNovember 17, 2011They serve both thin and thick crust and they do both options just right. Daily specials change constantly and seasonally and always surprise. No reservations and cash only.
- Sriram BalasubramanianNovember 12, 2010Try fasting all day before taking in all 8 slices of a large vegetarian pizza (with pepperoni) . If you survive you are worthy of the most gluttonous pizza experience in San Francisco.
- ryan o'donnellJune 28, 2010Their deep dish is fantastic, of course. But I highly recommend their thin crust pizza as well. The crust is perfectly crisp, like a fine cracker. Their White Pie, in particular, is special.
- Mike BergelsonJuly 19, 2011Favorite pie is half Classic and half Brass Monkey (Little Star with sausage, so named by the photogenic photographer / bartendrix at the Divisadero location.
- Mike ScottMarch 1, 2015A large is more than enough to share ask for half and half of you can't make up your mind!
- Try the Deep Dish Bacon, Arugula, Chevre, And Roasted Whole Garlic (via @Foodspotting)
- CollegeFashionistaJanuary 14, 2014Little Star Pizza is amazing and delicious. Be sure to try their deep dish pizza--it doesn't disappoint!
- Rachel RebeccaMay 4, 20141st this place is not associated with the other little star in SF2nd the waiters aren'tthat attentive3rd garlic bread is literally garlic&bread4th the pizza is soggier&the crust is thinner&to Krispy
- Caro SchieferMay 8, 2017Delicious pizza. good cocktails. Must try is the pizza prepared like a quiche.
- Nicole RocchioApril 2, 2019Really great pizza - would recommend little star deep dish and California thin crust
- Christian BakerDecember 31, 2014Best pie in SF. Period. And that goes for the thin crust or deep dish.
- Kaitlyn ReedAugust 31, 2013Don't be thrown off by some of the unusual pizzas, the chicken pesto was delicious!
- Ivan IlinMay 7, 2014C'mon guys, have you all ever been to Chicago? Sure this pizza is good, but it does not by any means equal anything by authentic Chicago makers like Gino's East. It's not even that deep!
- Jeremy KneessiJune 2, 2013For the closest experience to a REAL Chicago-style deep dish, visit Little Star and sink your teeth into the sauce on top, buttery corn meal crust goodness!
- Chuck RoslofDecember 9, 2015If you and a friend are particularly hungry and committed, the two of you might be able to polish off a large deep dish pizza.
- The Little Star pizza is my personal favorite, but don't forget to try the thin crust pizzas too!
- Rom ComSeptember 12, 2014We ordered the classic deep dish with pepperoni, the little star deep dish, and the great white. All were delicious!
- Corinna PSeptember 22, 2011As a former resident of Chicago, I endorse this pizza as legit deep dish. Get one with sausage.
- Come for the deep dish, stay for the deep dish, wait what's? Delicious goodie good stuff.
