All of the the tech shuttles park at the north end of the parking lot in the little drop off circle.
If you have a two (or more) zone Caltrain pass, you can transfer for free to VTA, but you need to tag your clipper card every time you board.

Simon OJuly 20, 2011While in principle the clipper card saves time, in practice it can be a pain -- esp at rush hour and with few validation stations, and if you need to tag-off before BART transfer at Millbrae.
Get here early on week days; parking becomes scarce in the afternoon
Give yourself plenty of time, parking and getting to the train can take longer than you think.- Make sure that you remember to tag on if using a Clipper card -- fines are steep, 250usd plus for not having a valid ticket whilst riding.
If parking is all full, you may use the extension parking, drive east on villa and turn right after a couple of blocks.
It's a big parking lot. If you have one one come and get you, make sure you know where they are.- if you take 7:57NB, and need parking, arrive before 7:50 am. Parking is difficult to find between 7:50 and 7:56am.
- If you take public transportation often, get a Clipper Card. It saves time and you won't have to spend time buying tickets every time.
Know where to stand on the platform during rush hour so doors stop right next to you and you get first dibs on seats

The parking lot is all one-way. If you are going against the arrows, that's why we're honking at you.
your credit card will work if you guide the back of it into the slot, ticket machine san francisco side.
If you're not on a bike PLEASE keep moving to the next cars!! First car is the bike car and it takes forever to get on waiting for passengers on foot to get on first.
Good place to park if you want to check out Mountain View downtown.
Don't keep chatting, shut up and take a break, it's been a long day, not just for you but other riders too.
There are four clipper card readers on each side, but most people seem to use the ones closest to castro street
If you use Clipper card with monthly pass, and travel out of your monthly pass zones, you'll have to purchase a paper "zone upgrade" from the ticketing machine.- If you miss your train head over to Red Rock for coffee.
Do not stand close to the end of platform as some trains do not stop at this station and go as fast as 80 mph.- If you miss your train grab a coffee at Red Rock on Castro.
- One way to find a parking spot is to wait for passengers in south bound train who may have parked trains overnight.
If you have a bike. You can tell if there is a 2nd bike car by the mirror which sticks out from the top left of the car near the engineer's window.
Get here before 7:30 a.m. if you want parking for the day.- Bring decent headphones to actually be able to enjoy music over the train noises!
- Sometimes the CalTrain may not bother, so bring food&drinks for everyone :)
- if you're on foot don't wait in line with the bikes / if you're biking, line up close to the front of the train. No cutting! Normally 15bikes should be able to get on north after 8

Ticket automats don't work with foreign credit cards, don't even bother trying. Just have some cash.
