- Christina ChaFebruary 22, 2014Lavender almonds, beets and berries, crispy potatoes with chicken gravy... Everything is delicious! Also appreciate that the flavors here are fresh and unique, not just a menu of current food trends.
- EaterJuly 10, 2013In addition to a new full bar program, chef Jeremy Fox's lighter California-style veggie-centered dishes shine, making the staple westside date spot once again obligatory. [Eater 38 Member]
- ℳ𝒶𝓎♍August 3, 2015Fabulously sourced, impeccably prepared selection of dishes in a warm, convivial space. Spot-on service, with a well-curated wine list with both harder to find domestic and international selections
- Chefs FeedMay 6, 2016"Everyone has a beet salad and this is one of the best we have ever had. It is earthy, but not too earthy. It's so well balanced. Jeremy is a master with vegetables!"- Genevieve Gergis Read more
- BordeauxWinesMarch 1, 2012This wine bar has an ever-evolving menu of the best of the best in food and wine. One thing remains consistent, their selection of Bordeaux, whether by the glass or bottle, is a must try.
- Just found out they no longer have the burger on the menu!! Told new chef is trying out new things in a limited kitchen. Totally get that, but please put it back- was the best burger in LA.
- RC ⚾💫🐘February 13, 2012The Crispy White Polenta with wild mushtooms, sunny-side farm egg, parmigiano-reggiano... fantastic! Really, you can't go wrong with anything on this menu, including the ice cream & sorbet selection.
- Andrew GaldiOctober 23, 2014Great food! Locally sourced menu changes daily. Good spot for a date or with a few people so you can try and share a bunch of small plates
- Joseph CAugust 13, 2014One of the better burgers in L.A.! Don't let Father's Office deter you from trying this place. Come around early or late lunch to avoid the crowds!
- Alfredo AponteJune 6, 2015Pricey yet wonderful farm to table restaurant, and don't hesitate to call last minute to rsvp because there's often a cancellation that you can fill ;-)
- Lisa LafranceNovember 6, 2016Although it's called a wine bar, try their cocktails too, which are very creative and very good!
- GeorgeAugust 9, 2014For a place that has "Wine Bar" in the title, I come here for the food. Oh the irony of it all but yes the food is fantastic.
- T ManMarch 17, 2017The food was ok. Service is good and timely not intrusive and not lacking. My personal opinion is that they are trying too hard to be trendy. The tables are on top of each other.
- The FeastJune 7, 2011A fantastic trio with wine expert Josh Loeb, pastry chef Zoe Nathan and Executive chef Evan Funke change their menu monthly and also incorporate craft beers into their culinary arsenal.
- Vanity Fair AgendaJanuary 30, 2012The hip L.A. version of Chez Panisse, this is one of the best spots in Santa Monica offering small plates and seasonal ingredients.
- K PMay 1, 2013really good burger- add the thick bacon! the shrimp scampi and broccoli rabe with burrata are delicious!

- Eric CSeptember 30, 2011You HAVE to try their Niman Ranch Burger, and make sure you add the egg and fries! Best burger I've had in LA so far!
- Joe LoveJanuary 3, 2016I wish I could delete all the posts about the burger. The waiter said they have not had burgers for years.
- Burger is out of this world. Don't eat all day though. It's rich. Pairs well with a big red wine.
- James CitronMarch 30, 2012Best wine by the glass - get the Gargiulo Sangiovese. Great winemaker, goes with much of the menu and a fair price!
- Niman Ranch Burger. Dish out the extra $3 (used to be $2, le sigh) for the fried egg. You're already going big by eating an $18 burger so why not get the works? Enjoy.
- JoycottJune 19, 2014Locally sourced, as sustainable as possible, and reasonably priced. What's not to love?
- Jason LiwagJanuary 6, 2014Best food in town! The chicken was phenomenal. Chef Jeremy Fox is a miracle worker.

- Mucho Comida™November 11, 2012Wines overpriced. Food good. Quality craft beers. Nice ambiance. Think that pretty much covers it. Enjoy.
- A sip of a French red wine and the best Burger in LA. Can't say no to that!
- DAN COXSeptember 20, 2011Just order the cauliflower. Even if you hate cauliflower. Just listen to me, and order the damn cauliflower Right. This. Minute.
- Sam DuffyJuly 2, 2014Meh, only ok. Far too loud, terrible room acoustics, even with acoustic ceiling baffles, and very average food. No sign of the mythical burger. Cheese board was the best bit.
- NouraAugust 31, 2016Be aware that they changed the menu and they don't have their burgers anymore, the steak is good though.
- Christine MerserMarch 11, 2011Five fabulous women loving the beets and shooting the breeze. Wish it were a bit quieter. Thanks Gai for taking us all...
- Jamie FAugust 20, 2013Ok yes the burger is sinful. But surprise superstars- the almonds. Basil or something kick is outrageous
