It gets busy during rush time, but a great spot to get work done with your laptop. Nice seasonal selection of single origin coffee and French press! Ask your barista how to taste different coffees.
Great place for an informal meeting or to get some work done. Coffee is good, and the place can get crowded, seating and plugs are plentiful, and the WiFi connection solid. Read more
This place has great vibes. Nicest staff, best coffee & pastries. Just be prepared if you come any time after 8:30 on a weekday though - wait can be pretty long.
Great java for a chain coffee company. On par with small batch coffee spots. Has more character and appeal than Starbucks especially when you're meeting up with someone.
Favorite coffee place in the city. Prefer this Gregory's over their others because of the ambiance. Less corporate. Can't go wrong with their Dirty Chai! Friendliest baristas.
Great coffee, lattes, and pastries. Unlimited free wifi turns any coffee break into a day of studying, web browsing and business meetings. (4 of 4 petals via Fondu) Read more
Soy lattes are pretty good here ($4.50) but tough to compete with great Stumptown coffee around the corner. Free wifi and good seating with natural light upstairs.
Gregory's iced coffee is hard to beat. Bonus: the baristas are experts in day-making compliments. We'd trust them with our order any day: http://bit.ly/1atxmQk
Well, there's good coffee, free WiFi, and a large communal table that's great for getting work done. But the disgusting bathroom makes me never want to go back!
New York's coldest coffee shop? Bring a jacket during summer. And order anything by George Howell on Aeropress - it looks like a Starbucks here, but certainly doesn't taste like one.
I don't have a good reason for preferring Gregory's Coffee to other coffee chains. I think it might be the chocolate, cinnamon, and nutmeg shakers at the counter that put it over the top.
strong wi-fi, above average coffee, lemon water, and a huge community table in the back make this a good spot to spend a few hours. only one plug though and it doesn't work very well....
Coffee is amazing, Free Wifi with lots of places to plug in the laptop. Also really close to Mashable's NYC office so get your elevator pitch ready in case you run into one of the writers!

Try a "salad", they are pretty great. Im not a fan of mixing sweet and savory, but they certainly pulled it off in their Quinoa salad. (salad gets quotes since they are pretty far from rabbit food!) Read more
Yogurt with oatmeal and fruits is great for breakfast! Coffee is average, being served very hot. You have to wait for up to 30 to get it chilled and be ok for consumption.
One of the only air-conditioned places to meet both friends and business contacts in the Flatiron area; ample seating, wi-fi and power plugs. And good coffee. Read more
