- Tom SmielaNovember 11, 2015This is pretty much the most authentic Japanese place in town. It's probably #1 restaurant in my life as far as the number of times I ate here. Black cod , beef tataki and miso ramen ...Upvoted 2 weeks ago
- Anthony RosasDecember 10, 2014Ramen can stand on its own here that's saying a lot for an izikaya - as good or better than some specialty ramen places. Everything was good especially the ramen and yakatori
- Kelsey PhillipsSeptember 25, 2016A huge selection of dishes that have all been tasty. Don't ignore the decore! The walls of the building are decorated with pictures of more dishes that aren't on the table menu!
- VEGAS.comOctober 22, 2012The restaurant has everything from a seafood quesadilla to deep fried bacon mozzarella, squid rolls, tempura and a honey toast presentation in the shape of a box.

- Jimmy SloninaDecember 15, 2011This is not a take out place. They'll do it, but it can be tricky. No takeaway menu or menu online. Also, no sushi pieces. Only rolls or sashimi. And other stuff. Great food though!
- Kenny WagnerJuly 10, 2010Authentic Japanese food 'til 4am but order by 315pm. Love it! Scared? Safe bets chicken yakitori, white or fried rice, green salad, spicy tuna roll & finish with mango or vanilla ice cream mochi.
- best Japanese food in las Vegas period. Everything is great I liked the ramen, black cod, honey toast!!!
- EricFebruary 1, 2010It's embarrassing how often I come here, I've even been here multiple times in one night. Can't be beat for authentic japanese food, has great atmosphere and cheap prices. Open until about 3 am, too.
- JoJanuary 4, 2015Sake sampler: Jokigen is great by itself. Narutotai is a little rough. Suijin is better paired with food
- Tauti Derico IIIFebruary 22, 2014Beware large parties. They dish out food slowly, on Fridays. Prepare to be full by the time your friends start eating.

- Beef tataki and honey toast! The chicken gizzards are yummy, too.
- Keith WilsonDecember 2, 2016This place is an awesome local Japanese spot with great small dishes. Order off the popular board, menu, or off the walls. Everything was wonderful and the staff is super friendly.
- Ken OnozawaApril 18, 2011Best Japanese food in the US! Hands down. Meat lovers, try the dice-cut beef steak!
- Doug ZamenskyApril 10, 2011Get the Jalapeño fried rice and the garlic chicken gizzards and mix them together!
- KalaeaJune 26, 2012Usually great service but tonight we were the only ones waiting...we got no greeting so we sat as the old man finished paperwork then after a few minutes he sat a person who entered after us. We left.
- Ladee JayneMarch 9, 2011Call ahead for reservation. Wait time is 30 minutes or more. Worth the wait tho.
