Concert Ticket AgencySeptember 26, 2012If you're not ordering food you'll have to stand, but there is plenty of room to stake out a spot if you arrive early. Small plates are recommended. They also serve food!!

SarahNovember 16, 2011Have dinner before you get here. We were supposed to get three cheese grilled cheese, tomato soup, and medium rare sliders. We got cheddar sandwich, acorn squash soup, and well done burgers. Ick.
Kourosh BehnamOctober 12, 2014Highline ballroom is the economy class of clubs. Full of club promoters. The venue is big and the entertainment was great. Paid $30 bucks and the three of us had free drinks all night (2 girls 1 guy).
- David MilbergDecember 8, 2015This is a cool place. Has a nice upstairs balcony. I'd be cautious on the stairway entrance; it is narrow and when there is a crowd, it seems to be a bit tight.
CMJAugust 29, 2012When the Highline conversion crept across Manhattan it was a no-brainer to open a music venue to go with it. Thus the Highline Ballroom was born to meet all world music, jazz, and indie-rock needs.

According to the bartender a $30 double means better vodka "like Absolut or something". For the most part, Saturday nights it becomes the largest nightclub in the meatpacking district. Ask for John Nova at the door for VIP courtesy.
Coat check is a disaster. You will wait a long time to retrieve. The anger it brings will remove any memory of joy from the show you just saw.
