- Imran GhoryNovember 10, 2015Michelin starred for it's Xiaolongbao, but it's casual rather than upmarket. Lunch for two for ~300 HKD. Vegetarian items are clearly marked as well of type of meat (chicken, pork, etc) in each item.
- Szabolcs 'csapos' PerlakiSeptember 26, 2017Very busy but worth waiting in the queue, goes faster than expected. The food is excellent, especially the chicken in rice wine, and the dim sum and dumplings of course!
- Steven WakuuMay 4, 2018To die for! Their pork soup dumplings are out of this world (don't bother with chicken). As for dessert… you have to try the taro dumplings or red bean buns. They will blow your mind!
- Awesome Dan Dan noodles, spicy dumplings, glutinous rice red beans cake, good Xiao Long Bao too. The problem is lighting....can really lift up the place more if it's got warmer lighting.
- The line doesn't lie! Soup filled shanghainese dumplings are made on location as you order them. The ticketing system moves fast so be patient. It's worth the wait!
- Magdalena MrázkováMay 26, 2017The food is exquisite - whatever dumpling you order will be delicious. The only problem is the interiour with cold light, too strong AC with the staff staring at you as you eat. But still worth it!
- Catsi CatalanApril 7, 2023We tried this dimsum restaurant in Hong Kong and one major difference from the branches we have in Manila is that there is no Chocolate Xia Long Bao which I am craving for.
- Apos KlgnsSeptember 26, 2015Sweet and sour chicken, egg fried rice with shrimp and pork.I am not into asian food a lot but this place was amazing.Be there early and be patient since there are queues but dont be afraid they r fast
- FreshApril 6, 2019Walk by the window, see the number of the table and ask the hostess to be seated there. Much more quiet. 81b is really good
- ChristineDecember 31, 2014Grab some truffle Xiang long bao after shopping on Causeway Bay😊 there's another branch of Din Tai Fung in Kowloon it's more cozy and less crowded😊😄
- L MSeptember 14, 2017I have been to the branch in Taiwan and I can confidently say that this one is superior. I have never tried anything as mouth-watering as their 小笼包
- W CFebruary 28, 2015Dumpling - xiao long bao! The pork chop fried rice is a hidden gem, always gets overlooked by the xiao long bao... The fried rice is the softest in town, highly recommended.
- R. S.July 16, 2017Xiaolongbao can be found elsewhere as well, but these red bean dumplings are unique!
- Vanessa MartiniOctober 5, 2016Heavenly! You must try the glutinous rice fill with red bean paste for dessert! Leave room for that trust me!
- Laura DNovember 29, 2012Do not leave this place without eating the chicken/pork black truffle xiao long bao! Absolutely divine -- best part is the delicate broth. Must try the stewed bean curd and spicy dumplings as well.
- Adamos ChristodoulouJanuary 4, 2015Very good food, low prices!Go early evening as it closes early! At 21.50 they started giving the bills to the tables & told us they are closing soon! We found it impolite as it was early but well...
- Angie BellDecember 21, 2014Superb food especially if you love Shanghainese dumplings, lovely handmade noodles, attentive service - lovely vibe! You'll have a great time!
- Christophe HtnApril 12, 2017Din tai fung remains the best xiao long bao restaurant in my opinion. Whatever the city it's always excellent. I like their sesame buns for dessert.
- Ph RMarch 31, 2013Go definitely for dumplings, any kind of dumplings! Add a soup and may be a red bean dessert(see picture). That is it. You feel happy!
- ZJanuary 8, 2017The only one Michelin-starred Din Tai Fung in the whole of HK so I heard. Typical DTF fare, with the soup dumplings a must to order. Still don't get why it's the only michelin-starred one.
- Martial BénardMarch 31, 2013This is King of Steam! Go for xiaolongbao, dumplings and noodles. Love the veg and mushroom dumplings. Also some nice sweet beancurd dim sum. Huge place, efficient service.
- Rumela DasApril 5, 2014Xiao long bao is what they are famous for. Pork, chicken, and shrimp versions were all amazing. Shrimp and pork wanton in special sauce is also amazing!
- Marco KusterDecember 28, 2015The dumplings are simply amazing! The service is fast and welcoming, I strongly recommend Din Tai Fung to everyone who loves Chinese food
- Станислав СотникDecember 28, 2014Really, very delicious! Just recommend pork and chicken dumpling (6pcs. in one set) and braised beef soup with noodles. Enough for two persons.
- Lauren YJanuary 3, 2015Opens prompt at 11:30 am. You can go there to Que first and order. Food comes out pretty fast and authentic. XLBs and chicken soup.
- ila lucsAugust 15, 2014The Black Truffle Xiao Long Bao is a piece of heaven! (I'm not exaggerating) A definite must-try!
- hellaHongKongJune 15, 2013If you arrive just before opening, when you walk in you're greeted by a long row of staff bowing to you. My girls always have room for the Longevity buns (filled with red bean).
- hazelAugust 5, 2015dumplings are fantastic and the service are also good. what a nice place to go with family :) will be back
- Byron KAugust 8, 2014Best Xiaolonbao in town. Try to go before 12pm during lunch or 6pm during dinner to avoid long queues.
- The soup dumplings provide multiple mouth orgasms. Also, try the cucumbers with chilli.
- Joel SavitzkyAugust 30, 2014The steamed buns are phenomenal but the soup dumplings are the best thing on the menu.
- Lukasz GSeptember 3, 2017Had dim sum and fried chicken, both delicious! If you have a chance this place is a winner!
- Alexey PisheninJanuary 3, 2018Dim sum dumplings with truffle - absolute must. Dim sum with pork - Best in the world!
- Benjamin PalmerSeptember 5, 2017a top spot for soup dumplings! also the mushrooms in vinegar starter is great.
- HongjaiMay 24, 2017I love xiao long bao and DTF usually. But my last visit left me underwhelmed. The xiao long bals didn't come as juicy as usual. Green beans are now cold? Don't rmb that. Anyone noticed quality drop ?
- Yasmina MikouJanuary 1, 2017Good introduction to chineese food. Explore random dim sum and dumplings. Try the drunken chicken, surprising ! 😋
- Alexander RudnitskiyNovember 26, 2012Absolutely must visit place in HK; recommend to try dimsungs (dumplings) with the chicken one and follow instructions on how to eat them....
- Jess MireauJune 9, 2018String beans with pork and the spicy wontons were clear winners. Otherwise, it was good, but not amazing.
- Jess MireauJanuary 28, 2019A good place to try a little bit of everything, but most people order the soup dumplings!
- JP JonesDecember 1, 2017Busy restaurant, great food - just note: dishes not as spicy as in other countries DTF's.
- Swiss In Hong Kong 🇨🇭🇭🇰October 25, 2014Great dim sum, love it! Take care the long queue outside if you go on rush hour.
- Angie WongMarch 17, 2013Red bean Xiao long bao for dessert! Yummy! Waiters gave us their full attention, worth visiting again!
- José João MartinsJanuary 9, 2015My best spot in HK although rush service, crowded and 10pm you are out!
- Marshall ShawFebruary 24, 2019Presentation of food but when we complained that our vegetables were slightly cool, they argued with us, didn’t charge is (with more arguments) and told us never to come back!
