Chris HoustonJanuary 11, 2022Nice mountain style airport, 30 minutes from Beaver Creek and 45 minutes from Vail. Don’t waste your money on a taxi, the bus to Vail costs $4 for adults and $1 for children / senior citizens.

soypanApril 1, 2012Rental Car return's a bit confusing. Isn't where you p/up. Further East, separate entrance. Gets pretty backed up on exodus days. Feels like walking from Denver if you're packing all your gear.
Only airport I've ever been to with free parking. Of course riding Colorado Mountain Express right from my front door is hard to beat.
Stay Hydrated, Fill up those Water-Bottles @the filtered water stations!

Mike DanksAugust 23, 2013Eat before you get here. Security never has more than a few minute wait so an hour early is plenty. If you rent a car here there are no preferred... you have to go to the counter- Stop by Heidi's Brooklyn deli on way to vail and beaver creek great samdwhiches nice people
