Start with a bowl of clam chowder—white or red, depending on your preference (both are good). The fish and chips is really great. Not greasy at all, just crispy, light, and delicious.
ShawAugust 24, 2014Lobster roll is fresh but rather puny & overdressed with bits o' shell and cartilage sloppily tossed in. But you'll order it anyway 'cos you're a lobster fiend! Fries are good with their lemon aioli

Best place in SM for fresh seafood. Plus their happy hour is a great deal at their little café. Try the poke!- The crab Louie is delicious and very generous with the crab meat! I've also had one of the best tuna melts here. Add some avocado to it, and it's even more heavenly!

Santa Monica Seafood is the best seafood restaurant in Southern California. Everything is top quality and as fresh as it can be. Highly recommended.

Still LOVE the cioppino here, but for 2013 the portion is smaller and the price is higher. A double hit.

They had run out of mussels, but when the counter guy saw my sad face he offered to get me some from the kitchen! Made my night.
