- The mashed potatoes are made from potatoes that the chef smokes in house. they taste like bacon and it changed my life. also the German beer selection is excellent
- Pro tip: Order the Schnitzel with Spätzle and cucumber salad but switch the meat from chicken to veal.

- Wiener schnitzel! Also - sub the cheese spätzle for the potatoes. Das ist gut!
- Brunch is delicious. The veal schnitzel sandwich with an egg and a Belgian tripel beermosa is tops.
- Spätzle was great and came with a pretty generous side salad.
- Würst teller w/ Nuremberg bratwurst and a domina trocken at the bar. Missing Berlin? Pick up a Löwebsenf (mustard) to go.

- I'm a potato salad snob, amd theirs is among the best I've ever eaten. That's saying something because I've eaten a lot of potato salad all over, from Germany to Calif.

- Be sure to save room for dessert. Pro tip: if you are stuffed, order some Underberg. You'll feel better.

- Ignore the crazy lady upstairs. If you rent upstairs from a restaurant you cannot claim to be surprised by there being a restaurant downstairs.
