There are bricks from historical sites built into the exterior of the building, ranging from the Taj Mahal to the Alamo. Many were brought by Chicago Tribune correspondents. A must see.
The balcony on the 22nd floor is still one of the best views in the city, if you ask me. Second favorite spot in the Tower? The bank of windows on the 5th floor overlooking the newsroom below.
Did you know? A piece of the Berlin wall is one of the many special stones embedded in the wall of the Tribune Tower. Head to the Western Brown Line 'L' stop to see another Berlin Wall monument. Read more
