- John WeissMay 30, 2011I'm from Portland, OR, home of the best coffee in the world, and Caffe del Doge has one of the best Americano's I've ever had. Hands down. Awesome environment and baristas too. Highly recommend.
- Ariana FaustiniJuly 16, 2013For $2.00 you get a perfect cup o' Joe. If you're feeling like you need to clog an artery, try the creamy Venetian hot chocolate. It's a bit like mousse but served in a cup and you don't get a spoon.
- FoliJune 5, 2013Get the taste of Italy in the middle of Palo Alto! The Mousse Al Cioccolato is a little taste of heaven in your mouth! Also, read complimentary magazines from Foli on your iPad here!
- Spencer SchoebenJanuary 1, 2013Delicious, thick, creamy hot chocolate. Best hot chocolate in at least a 25 mile radius.
- Open late, serves good Italian wine, can be a perfect alternative to expensive and crowded bars for a short night out.
- Macchiatone is my goto drink here. Similar to a cortado. Pair with whatever looks good under the glass.
- Andrew ShuttleworthJanuary 7, 2016I had a Chocospice with cardomman and requested soy milk instead of regular. Beauty in a cup for chocolate lovers without being too sweet.
- Lancer KindJanuary 11, 2014As a Seattle coffee snob, their coffee service is excellent. Barista Nico is extremely knowledgable and will take great care of you!
- Al B.September 27, 2015For authentic Italian coffee, definitely give a try here. They also have wine and pastries too! Fancy :P
- Hands down best cappuccino on the Peninsula. Authentic Italian espresso.
- Good wifi, excellent coffee and desserts. Also - in summer get their Limonate - it's like a v2.0 of an Arnold Palmer.
- Get one of the thick chocolate espressos. It's halfway between an espresso and chocolate mousse.
- Arezou KeshavarzAugust 22, 2017I live their chocolate drinks. Also they get their tea from samovar and it's amazing.
- Ashley YueAugust 28, 2014Lovely hot chocolate (Italian style so it's quite thick). Their soy matcha shake is good too.
- Farshid KetabchiJune 8, 2013Gourmet coffee n desserts, small italian wine selection, with complimentary savory bites on fridays! Cool cafe.
- William WangOctober 18, 2014They turn Wi-Fi off on weekends, only found this out after ordering and sitting down. Such a bad decision made since I searched Wi-Fi cafe on yelp, and this place was list number one.
- Eszter VargaAugust 13, 2014Fab outdoor seats, the quiche with a latte was perfect:)! Love the place!!!
- Lancer KindJanuary 11, 2014Ask to see their single origin ground coffee sampler so you can smell and decide what you're interested in trying.
- It's all about the hot chocolate with extra cream! Their lattes and cappuccinos are great as well.
- Now called Cafe Venetia because the del Doge owner didn't want to expand, but the franchise owner did! Coffee's still from Italy and roasted by the same person.
- Tony TantilloNovember 9, 2012Greatest mocha in the bay area! Notes of clean dark chocolate flavor in a very viscous concoction. My absolute favorite!
- Sam ChenJuly 16, 2013Pretty crowded, just remember there is seating upstairs! Great selection of teas as well.
- Giovanni DiGiacomoSeptember 11, 2016Everything is superb here. Has been one of favorite place since I got here in 2011
- OndineDecember 30, 2010The best are the thick mousse hot chocolates served in a martini glass. They're really rich and best if you split one with a friend ;)
- Internet is spotty and the interior design isn't really conducive to studying, but it's open til midnight (Thu-Sat).
- The French press is just as impressive as the espresso. Order only if u feel like sharing. Quite a lot if coffee for one to finish
- Ori ShadmonJune 26, 2013I liked it. There is room upstairs, and its not as crowded as copa caffe down the street
- Cafe VenetiaJune 12, 2012Cafe Venetia works with the very best ingredients to produce artfully designed and presented coffee drinks for your enjoyment.
- Coffee is excellent, Italian style. Anything chocolate is pretty awesome too.
- They make their coffee with care, running a timer with French press for example. You might wait a few extra seconds but it'll taste perfect.
- Nice place to take a date. She said the mocha was tasty.
- If you want something strong that's iced, get a poor mans freddo. It's espresso poured directly into a cup filled with ice.
- Try the hot chocolate with espresso (substituted for milk). Very strong!
- Best Cappuccino hands down. A piece of art and great blend of milk and espresso. Will be there this morning for my weekend delight.
- Watch out the French Press is a little small for two to share.
- They've taken the espresso marco polo off the menu, but if you ask they will make you one anyway.
