This pond was modeled after the model boatponds of Paris and is a great place to see radio-controlled sail boats gliding across the water. Nearby is a bronze sculpture of “Alice in Wonderland.”
Agree with the previous reviewers! One of my most ideal locations in Central Park. I recommend going to Knish Nosh. Sit at a table order some food or just order a bottle of wine and enjoy!
I love coming here rain or shine. This is undoubtedly a beautiful and peaceful oasis in the heart of the bustling metropolis. A perfect place to have a break and clear your mind
Not sure whether this is called the Marina, but it is a very ppular place for pictures, especially for bridal couples. It is better known as the Bethesda Fountain with the Lakepond in the far end.
a small pond where modeling fans go to take their little boats so you get to see a lot of interesting boating. Also, the flora nearby is very beautiful. There are always story-tellers on sundays. Read more
A classic Central Park spot....sit on the benches and watch the children with their rented remote controlled sailboats. Or get a view of hawk- Pale Male.
