On Tuesdays, kids eat free. Coupled with the free play room for kids for up to 90 minutes, and it's like a mini parental vacation!

Make sure you get here early in the morning on weekends if you want to shop peacefully. Weekdays are a good time to go visit too.

They have cookies a d coffee at Exchanges and Returns. It may take a bit, but might as well keep caffeinated and sugared up! 🍪☕️

I like the cafeteria. Tasty, cheap options. Sizes are small if you're used to American portions.

With the exception of the awfully slow checkout lines, it’s a great experience. They have a lot to learn from Costco...

If you're not going to browse (only do this at odd hours), look up item locations within the store from home, then crush your visit to the store.

Go in through the entrance, follow the signs for returns, grab a cart from the semi-hidden hallway as you turn the corner. Just walk in past the cash registers and you can do Ikea in 1/10 the time.

Instead of getting Swedish meatballs from the cafe, buy a jar of lindenberry sauce and make some *homemeade* meatballs and mash to go with it. Yum!

Since you're at IKEA, skip the meatballs and head over to Mi Pueblo Market across the street and hit up their amazing deli for a plate of carnitas or bowl of caldo de pollo.

Stay away. The lines are horrible. Waiting an hour to return something is normal. Lines to checkout go all the way to the end of self-service pickup. They clearly can't cope with the load.
