- Bill OzunaMarch 3, 2017The food is excellent. The service a tad slow and the meals are a bit pricey. It is located in a 100yr old building that housed a hardware store (hence the name) for many of those years. Worth a try.
- Elise RansomAugust 12, 2017Came for weekend brunch. Everything was delicious and perfectly cooked! I had the red flannel Benedict, the Vashon breakfast is also a favorite. Try the sourdough and homemade raspberry jam!
- Tal AtlasAugust 11, 2015The French toast is to die for. As a New York food snob this place lives up to having an incredible brunch. Also try the corned beef.
- Marty AcksJuly 26, 2014Oatmeal cakes breakfast wee unique. Order was large. I split them with my wife. Try Homemade donuts. They have an interesting egg bread taste
- Matt MickeyApril 8, 2011Their salads are delicious! I went not long after they first opened - The Hardware Store completely lived up to the massive amounts of hype it received. A great place to dine when you're on Vashon.
- Alejandro PoloOctober 26, 2011Finally, a real treat for Gluten-Free folk! While the price is not that economic, the atmosphere and GF choice vastly make up for it. Cool place!
- excellent place to check out when visiting Vashon! The fried chicken salad and fish and chips are very yummy!
- Charles GuerreroAugust 25, 2014The food and drinks here are excellent. Make sure you check out the daily specials.
- Kelsye NelsonJune 29, 2013Biscuits and gravy were not what I expected. They were lighter, more flavorful and freaking delicious.
- Frank HarterAugust 21, 2014I was honestly disappointed. The food was decent, but didn't live up to the hype. Very small menu. Pretty massive wine list though. For my money, I'd rather go to Anthony's at Point Defiance.
- Rowan McDowell ThompsonMay 26, 2014There's always really beautiful and intriguing art in the back by the restrooms.
- Sara McNallyDecember 27, 2011Do not miss the banana cream pie! Skip the food and go straight to pie!
