IrinaAugust 5, 2013Word is the fish taco is fire, but get the tofu taco... one for now and one for later. Get coffee at the veggie place next door, it's from Rwanda and it's great. They gots the soy milk for it. Go.

My favorite fish tacos ever!!! My go to spot when I hit Rockaway Beach. Always my first stop before the beach...and sometimes I go again when heading back to train.
Fish tacos and guacamole! Also, don't overlook the girl selling the cucumbers, jicama and mangos in a plastic baggie. The spice and lime work so well on the fruit and veggies and you'll feel healthy

Have been coming for tofu tacos every summer weekend since they opened. Wish there was another vegan option (seitan asada anyone?), but I'll take what I can get in Rockaway! We heart Rockaway Taco!

GNTLMNJune 26, 2012It sure is a trip out there, but this classic is worth is every which way. They don't sell alcohol but offer a wonderful and refreshing pineapple mint juice.
Perfect fish tacos are hard to come by. That being said, this place is amazing. Get the fish taco w/guacamole, a side salad of cucumber/mango, and sip it all down with some fresh watermelon juice.

P1 : fish taco with guac. P2 : spicy corn, chorizo taco, plantain quesadilla, mango jicama salad. Also get an ice from di cosmos next door, duh!

DensJune 9, 2011If the line stretches more than 10 feet past the ice cream stand, it's prob not worth the wait. But if you do tough it up, grilled corn is the way to do it.
Fish tacos with guac :) Squirt a little lime on top and you are good to go!! I'll come back to Far Rockaway if you promise I get to come here again :)
Fish taco is the only way to go and to take it over the top get a watermelon juice and add a few shots of vodka
