- If you have a dog that loves the water this is the place in Paulus Hook to go. So if you like throwing sticks for dogs into the water there are plenty of volunteers to go get them.
- One of the best parks in New Jersey. Amazing views of New York City and the Statue of Liberty. Watch out during a summer full moon. Photographers love to crowd the pavilion as the moon rises.

- Excellent walking trails on the waterfront. Great views of NYC and the backside of the Statue of Liberty. The diverse crowd at the park highlights one of the many great aspects of city living.
- If you're a runner, this place is the best for long runs - a nice flat 4-mile loop, bathrooms, easy parking, and all in the shadow (figuratively) of the Statue of Liberty and the NYC skyline.
- From downtown Jersey City, enter via the pedestrian bridge at the end of Jersey Ave. A bike/walking lane was paved across the gravel lot last year so it's a smooth ride all the way in!
