- Get the Shakshuka, a unique middle eastern dish featuring three eggs poached in a slow cooked homemade tomato sauce served with fresh baked bread.
- Adriano TrovatoAugust 19, 2012Everything was delicious and the service excellent. William is lovely. Try the Mediterranean Platter: it's terrific, especially the hummus, the dolmas, and the pita bread.
- Alyssa NicoleNovember 24, 2018I got the goat cheese omelette and the vanilla chai tea latte, absolutely delicious, definitely coming back here next time I'm in Philly
- Bobby G.September 16, 2013Cafe Ole is still Cafe O'Yea - had Shakshuka which is always outstanding. Excellent and friendly service, reasonably priced - perfect for a Sunday breakfast with the Family!
- Rachel MyhillFebruary 2, 2016Nutella Puff. Yes, Please! Good coffee, entirely unpretentious. They have (slightly comical) ginormous jugs of simple syrup --a brown sugar one, too!
- Brett GarwoodJuly 11, 2015Don't blink, you might miss this small but authentic coffee spot. Stop in, you won't regret it. Just north of Market.
- Bobby G.January 6, 2013Cafe Ole is Cafe O'Yea! While Shakshuka is outstanding - so is the hummus and spinach salad!
- My favorite sit down cafe in the city, excellent chai flavors!
- Favorites are: Shakshuka. Breakfast wraps. Soups. Vegan wrap and nicoise sandwiches. Awesome place to hang on a warm day
- Shakshuka and Bourekas are amazing!!! Service is spot on and the owner is a wonderful and inspiring woman!
- Great staff. Super friendly and warm environment. The music is great too...but sometimes a little loud.
- Great salads and sandwiches. Cucumber salad is awesome. Food is half price after 6pm!
- Every time I'm here - without fail, they short my change - by quite a bit - today $5. I appreciate the urgency to be speedy but make sure you count your change b/c they do too much at once.
- My fav place on earth! Coffee is the best in the city. Service is the best! And the brie and apple sandwich is the bomb.
- The French toast is amazing! Best I've ever had. Made fresh from challah and has a sprinkle of powdered sugar on top. Truly the best!
- Jennifer HaveyMay 3, 2013The breakfast wrap was very tasty. The service was fine, but the owner(?) was impatient with one of the servers. She abruptly dumped out a coffee drink that looked fine and remade it. Uncomfortable.
- Great coffee, always friendly. Go on Sundays all sandwiches / salads in the case are $5
- Look really busy on your computer while sipping a third coffee and barely comprehending what's going on in the real world.
- Marco TaboasMarch 2, 2012One of the best places to have breakfast in Filadelfia, nice people, nice food, great coffe!

- Everett ReissMay 10, 2010Just had their tropical ice tea today... amazing! Also, solid free wifi, great place to work remotely from. Read more
- The lox plate is incredible. Better than 99% than I've had.
- annie heckenbergerDecember 31, 2011Skip the bagels. Made by Le Bus, they look great, but are entirely too dense to be called a bagel. More like a dinner roll.
- The Shakshouka is the strangest most wonderful thing we've ever eaten here
- Iced chai is amazing, especially with espresso. Good food too
- If you don't need the caffeine, try the hot apple cider.
