- One of best smaller airports for food choices & shopping. The MarketPlace is great. All the usual items plus beer from local/area breweries; local wines (including ice wine) and a Brighton section.
- Scott ByerlyFebruary 21, 2017A small but mighty airport; you'll find Southwest, United, American, Alaska, and others here. Ease of travel getting in and out here is fast. However if you have car rentals; better call in advance!
- Gregg PullanoJune 15, 2015One of the best airports I've used. BEAUTIFUL terminal for a midsize airport, spacious interior and a fast trip. I checked in and was through TSA in less than 20 minutes. Great view of the runways too
- Steve BellMay 8, 2018Nice provincial airport. Quite a few very small shops and food is good at the burger bar before we security if someone is seeing you off or meeting you.
- Byron ShockNovember 7, 2016Parking is easy. Security is relatively fast. If you have a long wait, pinball is available in both concourses, and the Boise Library has an online reading room and e-book checkout.
- Fun fact: You can take your drink to go from any of the bars, as open containers are allowed past security.
- Even non TSA security is quick. Dropping rental car is quick.Bardenay is great for drink and food.
- Taylor NymanSeptember 5, 2019Nice airport! It is small, but has decent options for food as well! Clean too! And if you are here visiting from Minnesota, a treat to see is they have a Caribou coffee!
- Check out the gluten-free meal boxes from Be Free Village at the Moxie Javas
- Nice airport easy to navigate n quick thru security. Make sure to get some of the Idaho beer in the shop after security.
- If your flight leaves before 6 am, make sure to get there extra early. Lines at security are stupid.
- They have a baby friendly vending machine with diapers, snacks and other important necessities after security!
- If you live in Boise and BUS runs near your house it is pretty convenient to get in and out of airport. A few feet from main lobby.
- Love this airport. So simple. Great big outdoor pet area on lower level west side.
- Karyn @konorth ONovember 5, 2021Small and cozy airport. Very organized with a few shops and eateries. TSA pre-check is a breeze.
- Todd NugentOctober 30, 2013Boise has TSA Pre-Check! Keep your shoes, belt and jacket on plus leave your laptop in your bag. Awesome convenience!
- Luke ThomsenMay 17, 2017Pros: free WiFi, easy to find a place to sit, cleaner than most airports, fast security lines. Cons: not a lot of food/drink options and expensive to fly in and out of.
- 🌸Maria🌸 AngelSeptember 3, 2017The airport is actually a lot larger than one might think and they have quite a few places to eat
- Prepare for security when packing. Either check a bag with all liquids and gels or have your quart bag of travel size packed and easy to get out. Have large electronics easy to get out too.
- Best small airport. Into the parking, thru security and to the gate in 10 min tops. TSA PreCheck is a breeze.
- Michael FanningJanuary 26, 2014The bartender out side of security is from Vegas and he is great and makes great drinks
- Falcon DarkstarOctober 29, 2016Lots of "upscale prairie themed bar" places; an arcade and a library. Naught else.
- The Moxie Java downstairs (by C gates) has a bagel shop and more food options than the ones upstairs
- Small and functional. They have a Tree of Life!
- Brian IbarraDecember 15, 2014Decent sized airport that has lots of connection flights but bigger than I thought it would be lol
- Bartenders at the sports bar in terminal B usually have a heavy hand when pouring...tip well!
- Nicole KastenApril 18, 2015Good signage. Eat pre security right now as more restaurant options are being constructed. Idaho beer and Idaho wine available.
- Allow extra time for early morning flights. Security lines tend to be super long in the morning.
- Don't be a sheep. Exercise your right to learn the facts about airport screening technology and make your own informed decision whether or not to opt out.
- DevronOctober 2, 2011Moxie Java is some of the best coffee around. If you like it sweet try a milkyway
- SamsoniteMay 3, 2011Boise Airport has bicycle racks at each end of the lower (arrivals) level of the terminal so you can store your bike safely.
- Scott BeuseMay 28, 2011I have been to dozens upon dozens of airports. Maui Tacos has the best airport food I have EVER had!
- Super speedy wi-fi. Nice place to do some work.
- This airport has a Smashburger?! What did Boise do to deserve that?
- Todd CarpenterAugust 31, 2013If you're hoping for Starbucks before you flight, get there early. The line is epic.
- The lines for security are always short — although for some weird reason that doesn’t stop the from making you wind back and forth between a tone of empty waiting lanes.
- Decent airport, good luck finding something to drink if you're here before 10am
- Check in & view boarding passes from your phone, skip the lines, drop your bags & go!
- Jessica BakunasJune 23, 2013Went to check in at the southwest counter and no one was working. Flight left at 6:05am, I arrived at 4:30 to a long line of people waiting for until the shift started at 5:00am.
