As of 5/30/13, credit cards are accepted at the cafeteria. An author for the Archives' blog figured that this development is about as pivotal as FDR's signing and creating of the NARA itself.
Cafeteria accepts credit/debit cards. If you are a foreign researcher, do not forget to circle your surname on the request form. Otherwise, you'll wait for your request, which was already pulled.
The oatmeal is best first thing in the morning, and a colleague says the biscuits are great. But bring cash, because credit isn't accepted in the cafeteria.
