Originally named White City, it was opened in 1908 as a popular amusement resort adjacent to Lake Rhoda spearheaded by prominent Denver brewer Adolph Zang.

Cheaper than Elitch's and much more cultured! This is the TOP SPOT for a reason! Ride the oldest wooden roller coaster "Cyclone" the minute u get there! Call me before u go and I will prolly come!

Cyclone Stats- Height 90 feet. Drop 89 feet. Angle Of Descent 50 degrees. Top Speed 55 mph. Length: 2,800 feet. Trains: 2 - 20 passenger. Train Mfg: Edward Vettel Sr. Ride Time 1 minute, 55 seconds

Lakeside has great architecture but I wouldn't trust the rides.

The new ZOOM offers a great view and an incredible thrill, from the 140 foot drop tower.
