- Serious EatsApril 25, 2013Tasty Dumpling's rich pork filling is one of our favorites in Chinatown, and the cabbage in this more-portable pancake offers a mellow vegetal backbone and mild sweetness.
- TomOctober 16, 2016Cheap and tasty when you get a good batch. Inconsistent at times, but usually good. Cheap! 5 pork and chives fried dumplings for $1.25! Good amount of seating. Cash only
- Dan FetznerApril 9, 2016Very good food, very cheap prices...like insanely cheap. You can't find this kind of taste for this kind of value anywhere else in the city. I got 2x #1's and a small #26 for $4, you can't beat that.
- Cash only. There is an ATM, but who wants to pay an ATM fee just to get a few bucks? My go-to: those killer fried pork + chive dumplings for only $1.25. Doesn't get any better than that 👌
- Maia McCannAugust 12, 2013This place is legit. No frills. It's about the tasty dumplings. Pork dumplings with chive (boiled) makes a pretty killer lunch for under $5. Kind of crowded and awkward inside so take it to go!!!
- The pork and chive dumplings are the best dumplings in Chinatown! And for $1.25 they're one of the cheapest meals you can find in Manhattan.
- Jake DylanAugust 16, 2021Really solid dumplings (also sold frozen dumplings). We got the chive & pork because they were our of cabbage and pork (around 11:30am). Sauce container was an extra $0.25, NBD.
- Honghui YuJuly 31, 2017The dumplings here, while lacking in presentation and finesse, are pretty damn good. And you get 10 for $4 - doesn't get better than that.
- Avi FlamholzDecember 16, 2012Up there with Prosperity Dumpling for the best dumplings in Chinatown. If you order anything other than the #1 at lunchtime, be prepared to wait 5 minutes. Good thing #1 is fried pork dumplings.
- Serious EatsFebruary 10, 2014The fried dumplings have a nicely gingery filling with well balanced sweetness, and a supreme savoriness from plenty of pork fat and juices.
- CheapNYCSeptember 2, 2011This little place packs a punch with large dumplings that have a great dough thickness and tons of pork and chives along with an even fry on all the dumplings for a great taste. Five for $1.25.
- Muthu BMarch 17, 2019Got vegetarian dumplings they were yummy and cheap! I also bought frozen dumpling and made them at home it was absolutely awesome.
- Jonathan L.September 12, 2013Can't beat the price for a perfectly stuffed dumplings. Try both beef and pork fried dumplings. Add some vinegar and hot sauce on top to add some flavor.
- Dana RosaMarch 10, 2017I always get Chicken & Mushroom, but fried instead of grilled. Takes a little longer, but totally worth the wait!
- Gray Line New YorkNovember 22, 2011For just $1.25, you get 5 pan fried & seriously plump dumplings that the whole family will enjoy. Feeling adventurous? Order the Shrimp & Chive Boiled Dumplings for only $3.
- Prices have gone up, 1.75 for 5 dumplings, still worth it!
- Daniel MaliaJanuary 27, 20191.5 for 5 dumplings, fucking bargain. Chive and pork are the best! Ask for chopsticks and use the dumpling sauce!!
- JessicaMarch 15, 2016Amazing pork and choice dumplings! The wonton soup is probably the best I ever had. Great dive.
- Alex FishDecember 22, 2019If on jury duty take $5 out of your pocket and get dumplings with scallion pancake. Enjoy!
- Tudor LeuFebruary 25, 2013Dirt cheap and tasty. Get the pork and chive fried dumplings, a portion of 5 will set you back a grand $1.25
- Megan DoSeptember 28, 2012The dumplings are great here but you absolutely NEED to order a cabbage and pork pancake. Only $1.25 and huge!
- C SampleSeptember 29, 2016You have to wait for them to boil your dumplings. Recommend fried if waiting w a group

- Jack LynchAugust 25, 2013So good and so cheap! Get the dumplings to go and eat in the park across the street.
- The cabbage and pork dumplings are tasty and cheap. I prefer them to the pork and chive.
- $1.25 for some fine dumplings. Cheapest and finest in Chinatown now
- Be quick when ordering! The cashier/cook woman does not like to see people fumble inside their wallets for 25 cents.
- Ivan BraunMay 18, 20135 fried dumplings are $1.25 and 10 boiled dumplings are $3.25. Maybe the Chinese talent in math is overrated, but the food is terrific )
- Michael LiOctober 30, 2014Their pot - stickers are amazing. But avoid the soup dumplings at all costs.
- Phoenix 💥💥💥October 28, 2014This place is so inexpensive and popular that you may want to get it to go!
- NoviJune 30, 2017Not really impressed but it's cheap 👍🏻 i had a Fried Pork & Chives dump and it was okay. No rice. Cash only.
- Prices have gone up 25 cents for the dumplings. Doesn't matter, it's worth every penny!
- Not anywhere as tasty as their name would suggest. Skin is way too thick. Probably the best option on this side of Chinatown though...
- Thomas NgoSeptember 8, 2014Skip the specials that cost more and go for the cheap ready made fried dumplings.
- Matthew WeinbergFebruary 12, 2012Ask the person behind the counter for Chili Oil. It's great with the dumplings.
- Eddie YetiOctober 24, 2010Pork and chive was tasty. Saw a mouse near the register but it was small and kinda cute actually. Gotta love Chinatown :)
- Ben LugavereJune 21, 2013Hard to complain about dumplings at this price point but I've definitely had better. Save on cals by getting boiled instead of fried. Siriacha is wayy watered down so don't even bother.
- Ryan GallagherOctober 9, 2018Seems like they have fallen off. Water down hot sauce and vinegar and very doughy dumplings.
