Social News NetworkJune 30, 2012The green and yellow curry here is to-die-for! If you are a fan of Vietnamese cuisine, I highly suggest 888. The dishes are reasonably priced and the portions are generous. Pad Thai is also exquisite.

Good oriental food, my favorite in Austin! One of the best in ATX area. Good vegetarian options. If you are in Austin you have to stop at 888, it's a must!

andrew ballFebruary 27, 2015Everything is awesome!!! The pho, orange chicken, lemon grass chicken, fried rice. All of it. I'm so glad I live nearby.- One of my favorite spots when I used to live in SE Austin. You can't go wrong with the red curry, the phad thai , or the pho!
Their Pho is really good but the only issue i have with it is the temperature of the soup. The soup is not hot enough at this place. They need to make it boiling hot like most Pho places.
Vietnamese spring rolls (not fried, but fresh), both shrimp and pork the best
If you're getting pho to-go, be careful about ordering rare flank steak because it probably won't cook properly by time you get home and mix it all together.
If u get the pho make sure u get the small bowl. I can't even make a dent in the big bowl. It's overwhelming how much food it is. Very good though!

The pho is legit. But you can never go wrong with the Duck Panang Curry. Hands down my favorite.

I got food poisoning, and really got sick. I ate the crispy noddles with chicken and beef. The msg is what did it.The menus are falling apart and the place is NOT up to par. Needs to be inspected.
