Wonderful old station, great mix of old & new architecture. Different sections of the station go to different places. Have a nosey at the different statues & watch the trains going to Paris & Brussels
I think this is the best rail station I’ve ever been in my entire life. The station is so well organised and for tourist traveling by train is the fastest way to arrived to the airport. Magnificent.
One of the few places in London where you can still get a coffee, with seating and shelter, in the middle of the night, as the station and some of it's coffee shops are open 24 hours.
First opened in 1868, then renovated and expanded in the 2000s, this station is a beautiful mix of old and new. Wait for your train at the longest champagne bar in Europe and enjoy!
This station is gorgeous! They've done a really good job renovating it! High Speed Southeastern services to Kent! Eurostar terminal with trains for Paris and Brussels
If you have time to spare, go visit the new neighbourhood north of the station, made up of St Pancras Sq, Lewis Cubitt Sq, Granary Sq and Coal Drop Yard. 7 min walk for some great food, drink & shops
Eurostar. Great hotel and restaurants. Lounging areas. Upper floor is much more tranquil and civilized away from the bustle of the ground floor if you have the time to chill before your travel
The outside of St Pancras was once again used to represent King's Cross Station in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 (2011) as the next generation of Hogwart's students head to their train.
This is a beautiful station with both historical and modern elements combined. I was traveling with the Southeastern railway services here. No issues were found in any aspect. Huge love!
If you need to wait for your eurostartrain head upstairs to St Pancras brasserie for a pint or some wine. Prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is more welcoming than in the ground floor.
Look up - on a sunny morning the roof is stunning. Very smart shops and free toilets. If you have a long wait at Kings X, cross the road for a new set of shops and cafes
One of the most beautiful and convenient train stations in London. You can hop on a train, get shopping done, have a coffee or meal, or just walk around whilst listening to strangers play piano...
Beautiful architecture & great selection of services across retail & food & beverage. Takes all the best elements of rail service from Japan to Germany & gives a great first impression of England.
My favourite station, the wonderful poet John Betjeman helped to save it, now restored and with a statue in his honour to boot! My portal to many happy holidays on the Kent and Sussex coasts.
After missing their train to Hogwart's, Harry and Ron take the flying Ford Anglia instead. The scenes show them flying past the London St Pancras in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (2002).
The concourse has a lot to offer, including the biggest M&S shop I have ever seen at a station. The high speed link to Ashford is handy for Sussex as well as Kent.
One of the best stations ever. Everything is wellorganized. Sometimes you get lucky by watching someone playing on the "public" piano inside the station.
Easy to locate, booking was very simple. Quick trip across the channel to Paris is easy and peaceful! On the way back, there was a delay on the tracks so it took longer, but that was an anomaly.
One of my favorite train stations. Really cool architecture and a ton of shops and places to eat. The 2012 shop and top-floor oyster bar are must-visits. Oh, and the trains are nice, too ...
Looking to grab a coffee? Last time we checked, instead of a £1.50 filter coffee from Starbucks, you can get a freshly roasted organic coffee for only 99p from Pret a Manger (just opposite).
Very much impressed with the station's acoustic. Despite the hustle and bustle you can still hear the conversation- you can even hear yourself think :)
Check out the olympic rings as you arrive. Impressive - if you can't see them them it means the Olympics have been and gone so your train today was later than you thought
Travellers unfamiliar with London: If xferring from St Pancras/King's Cross 2 Euston (or vice versa), usually quicker to walk if you've no heavy baggage. Tube takes longer & costs a lot 4 only 1 stop!
Whether you’re heading up north or taking the Eurostar, you can tell us about non-emergencies by text on 61016 on any railway in Britain (in emergencies dial 999). http://j.mp/text61016
I have to say I always loathe having to come here. The station is windy and cold in the winter, there are not enough toilet facilities and the tube is miles from the trainplatform.
30 mins to kill? Venture up Judd Street into Bloomsbury, grabbing an authenticcoffee & croissant at Les Deux Amis (63 Judd Street), or check out plans for the area at The German Gym (St Pancras Rd)
